Fingers crossed the show can get a decade out of him, definitely the star male pro now.

Absolutely. He has definitely proven himself with his two completely opposite celebs so far. I thought I would be sad with the end of the Pasha, Aljaz, Oti, Janette era but this group of new pros is so promising. Nikita, Kai, Jowita, Vito, Carlos and hopefully Lauren will be the future of the show and it’s exciting.

It wouldn't be a surprise to see Gorka leave. He was clearly annoyed to lose to someone not as good as him, has his own tour, isn't on the Strictly tour and knows after reaching the final that if he does stick around he won't get someone as good as Helen.

In the article there is zero indication that he wants to actually leave, the sun are running with the fact that he looked angry after hamza won but if you read it there’s no actual indication of him wanting to go. I'll take the Sun with a pinch of salt and Gorka has mentioned an intention to be back for 2023 on social media but I wouldn't be overly shocked if he called it a day soon. Maybe next series will be his last.
I like Gorka but I kinda miss the early version of him when with Tameka & Alexandra. Plus, now that he's had 3 very good partners and went to the final with all of them, his work is kinda done (unless they want to push for him to get a win) and it's time for newer dancers to shine.
As a seasoned pro, he can probably get away with not doing the tour so I don't think that equals him leaving. Bit different for a newer guy like Cameron whose absence does raise an eyebrow.

This is really unhealthy. Scary that they feel they're owed something from a real relationship or non relationship.

I wouldn’t be shocked either but I also think he would be a bit silly leaving, obviously he wants to spend more time with Mia but strictly is guaranteed income for 3/4 months of the year and 90% of the pros who leave to pursue “other ventures” never end up doing anything worthwhile
The fact that he also implied that he was coming back next year in his instagram post makes me think it’s a load of rubbish, especially as the article doesn’t even have a proper source but instead a “tv insider” who is probbsly just guessing he’s leaving based on his pissy face

Yeah, the wording is a bit vague. Him putting 'Strictly 23 let's go!' on his insta caption the other is a pretty strong hint he doesn't want to go anywhere
These Sun exclusives though...oh well, looks like I'll be worrying about this for the foreseeable

Gorka with another man could be an attractive looking partnership but I get the vibe that of all the male pros, he may be the least likely to be interested in it. Of the ones who haven't danced with another man already - Kai, Nikita, Carlos & Graziano strike me as the ones most likely to be up for it.

I find it hilarious that a partnership can withdraw, skip several weeks, be voted back into the final and then win. Sums up the batsh*tness of the Italian show though it's been entertaining to follow for sure.
A 54 year old female celeb winning though is pretty cool, never had that on Strictly.

Hamza & Jowita provided at least as many memorable performances as Helen & Gorka throughout the series, but if you look at the Final in isolation then Fleur was the clear standout. You didn't see Vito looking pissed off when Hamza was announced - quite the opposite! It's not the first time Gorka has acted in an ungracious and unprofessional manner re. other celebs/colleagues. At least he had the good sense to try to rectify his 'sore loser' look the next day. He doesn't do himself any favours though, so I'm 50/50 on him leaving. I'd take his instagram post as far more indicative he hopes to stay than some clickbait tabloid BS... but ultimately it's not his decision, especially as he's already been benched once.
I don't understand the mentality of "Gorka should win" just because he's been in strictly forever. And he certainly didnt get to this final based on Helen's dance skills.
He didn't deserve and shouldn't have expected to win this final.
As for all the pros wanting him to win as their mate, they must remember this is work (on a public platform) so keep it professional and not air their opinions..
