I love Giovanni as a dancer and think he’s one of the best choreographers on the show (though him giving up on Richie the week after that fabulous QS will always make me side-eye him) but his whole public persona makes me cringe - the embarrassing obsession with designer labels, the tacky IG posts, the terrible fashion choices.

I feel like I need to apologise to Vito for judging him on his IG feed over the summer and assuming he’d be similar to Giovanni. I’m very happy that I was wrong.

It's actually quite funny, I confess to having a bit of a chuckle, because I knew he was going to get "papped" buying some luxury watches/clothing.
Didn't think I would dislike him more, but hey proved me wrong.

Wow… Imagine going on Strictly to learn a new skill, boost your career and have a fun time only to find out that a bunch of strangers on the internet are now intrusively obsessed with your personal life (especially someone like Rose who seems to go out of her way to keep her personal life private which I respect immensely).

(As nicely as possible, I hope those fans take this news as a chance to step back from the internet and get some perspective. Be like the James McAvoy fan who ran an IG account dedicated to him until she started taking antidepressants and realised she didn’t like him that much after all.)

Instead of the endless West Side Story style group dances next year, could we get one celebrating the Pets of Strictly Professional Dancers? We have Jowita and her Danger Cat, Nikita and his Brainless Loaf Cats, Karen and her Rescue Dogs, and Vito has a goat in Italy, I seem to recall? It would be such fun! Just imagine, Vito prancing about joyfully headbutting people, singing "I am the GOAT!" as he goes. He'd love it.
