I am scared of birds and the thought of someone locking me in a room with one flapping about is just horrendous. I would probably have a panic attack and pass out. What a bellend
Oh my God! We have the exact same phobia and the exact same love of Gorka!!
This was my immediate thought when I read about Amy being locked in a room with a dog, if it was a bird I would actually pass out. A pigeon landed on my head in London once and I did pass out. Very amusing for all my mates. Not so much for me!!

That's just outright disgusting, sounds like he actually gets pleasure out of it. I can't fathom why you'd ever want to lock someone in a room like that. It's bullying - poor Amy.

Does being a world champion protect him? Because he has a crappy sense of 'humour', crappy choreography, bizarre personality, seemingly can't teach and doesn't have the looks for TV either. Considering all of that and the fact he's old for a dancer, I can't fathom why the show keeps him on. It's worrying if any young dancer looks at him as a role model.
I dunno I mean in the interview where she talks about it Amy's laughing like it's no big deal so maybe it wasn't that bad or maybe she just feels she has to respond like that. She didn't say what her reaction was like at the time though, I wonder if she was so laid back about it then. 🤷‍♀️

It’s a joke, I managed to get myself tied up in a knot last week about how many people would be the final (hence the wink emoji)
Wouldn't worry about it, my dad was making The Sacred Spreadsheets for his World Cup watching schedule over the next few weeks, and somehow managed to get four teams into the final! 🤣

So if Strictly ends up with the entire Iranian football team trying to do a tango and the World Cup final has Rylan in goal for England we'll know who to blame.

Would love to see Rylan in goal 🤣

Ah, Smile luv, only a bit of fun …can’t you take a joke, then? Time of the month, eh, lads.

Couldn't agree more and he is everywhere the camera is. Even at the tv awards, there he was slap bang in front. I cannot stand him and find him repulsive. 🤢

With Katya joining the panto on Sunday 18th December, that must mean the show finishes on Saturday 17th. I had hoped for a Christmas Eve finish for the 20th year but there’s a lot going on then

I think I said on an earlier thread, after watching Tony's very first performance, that Katya would have plenty of time for panto.
Shows all I know! 😁

Ah that’s not good.
She was doing CC as well, wasn’t she?
wonder if she will be able to do it next week … weren’t Tom and someone else who had Covid last year* allowed to do their missed week dance the week they came back?

edit
* Judi?

I think it will depend how much training they managed it might seem unfair if they get an extra day.
If I recall Judi was only cleared very late on to dance so basically no time to train.

I must admit I didn't realise they were still testing. I hope people don't get annoyed at a bye at this last stage, especially as Kim seems to have gained more public support over these last few weeks.

I think the news emerged when she was unable to do her tv show - as opposed to testing being done by Strictly iykwim. (Maybe they are still testing though, I don't know.)

Her son had it and then the rest of them got it.
Poor Kym. I hope that they all make a good recovery.
