I guess it will depend on the dances - if Fleur's rumba is a knicker-flashing disaster there isn't much option!

Poor Kym - I've already seen dickheads on Twitter saying 'why was she testing?' and 'why isolate?' um, her dad is terminally ill and having chemo, you divs. Also hope it hasn't gone round the pros and celebs..
Also her son had covid first, and once it was in the house, testing would make sense, for lots of reasons.

Very unpopular opinion: I don't think last year's Strictly was as amazing as people make out. I can't remember any of John's dances apart from the paso. Rose did some absolutely gorgeous ballroom but was a one trick pony. I thought AJ was the most likeable and the most versatile dancer so I wasn't really invested in the final when she had to pull out.

I think it was definitely better than this year, just not leagues ahead like a lot of people think. Imo what this year needs is more ringers and less sob stories.

I thought the other day this series needs at least 1 ringer, having Aston and Alexandra (justice for Aston still) in one series and Faye and Ashley, both in recent years means other series are underwhelming.

I don't really miss the ringers but it does mean contestants now are getting 10s for dances that aren't really up to the same standard.

They're late releasing the songs and dances this week, which is making me nervous that it's not just Kym...

And D'Amelio sadly won the whole thing as well. She could dance but felt like a total damp squib of a win.

Shirley should be in a very good mood this week, at the very least.

Iโ€™m always nervous when the songs are late too - the last big delay was when Robert had to withdraw ๐Ÿ˜ฌ๐Ÿ˜ฌ๐Ÿ˜ฌ

Ariadne feels as strongly as we do that Neil "Prank Lord" Jones should be quietly removed for his crimes against poor Amy and Kai, its nice to feel validated that it's not just us on Tattle.

I still reckon Ariadne is one of us or at least she reads here...

oh goodness I'm nervous now especially with them all partying together at Blackpool. The producers will be glad the aim was always for a 4 person final gives them some leeway.

if more than one celeb/pro had covid they would have released that info at the same time as the info about kym surely?

I do wonder what the plans are in place if more than Kym test positive this week. She would likely as not already be carrying it over the weekend. So who knows if sheโ€™s passed it on to anyone else.

Weโ€™re at the point in the series where thereโ€™s so few contestants left if thereโ€™s a her and maybe another couple taking a bye surely it doesnโ€™t seem fair if thereโ€™s an elimination.
