OK, 8 people at Blackpool, 1 leaves.
7 people in week 10, 1 leaves.
6 people in the quarter-final, 1 leaves.
5 people in the semi-final, 1 leaves.
Which leaves 4 people in the final.

This is why I wasn’t sure! I’m sorry for the confusion! What the hell was I counting?!

I don’t think Rachel Riley has anything to worry about. Well I might kidnap Pasha but on the maths front…no danger

It's definitely a four-person final: Hamza, Helen and then presumably Will unless he's a shock boot. Plus whoever survives of Kym, Molly, Fleur.

Ellie must have a big vote and I like her but she just hasn't wowed in any of her dances. I guess if she does a good ballroom this week with lots of backing dancers that might save her.

I know every week I say I'm worried for Fleur but I do worry given that she's already done Beyoncé a Destiny's Child CC might annoy the people who say she's too aggressive. And a mash-up makes me very nervous. Hopefully the judges will give it CC marks to keep her safe.

I like Tyler but he did seem deflated this week - I’m no dance expert but is Dianne’s choreography really weak? The judges all mentioned there was no Paso content or shaping etc, that’s not his fault.

It's strange because sometimes on my IG Joe Slugg pops up doing rehearsals with Dianne, and they always look fast paced and snappy. But never to be seen with Tyler. Very odd.

I remember someone on the Secret Celeb Gossip thread alleging that the BBC threw Katya under the bus with the Seann thing to stop some drug scandal involving multiple pros from coming out. Like, some deal with the tabloids to let them publish a less damaging story than one they were planning to. Not sure if I believe it, hard to see how everyone including Katya would agree to it but who knows?

Something that did make me consider it might be true was, a while ago I was rewatching Ranvir's Argentine Tango, and I noticed Gio sniff in quite a pronounced way. Since it was the Covid season, a cold seems pretty unlikely, as does hayfever at the time of year...

That's nothing, once in a high school biology exam I spent like 15 minutes checking and rechecking that I was right that 10 divided by 3 was 3.333 recurring, then got the test back and found that I'd somehow misread a 9 as a 10 and the answer was just 3. Messed up the whole question and it was like a fifth of the grade

I could potentially see Will being a SF dance off casualty against Fleur or Molly, when you reach that point that two decent dancers will be in it (like John vs. Rhys last year)

It all depends on what dances they have that week its not a guarantee that they will always save Molly or Fleur over Will or maybe im being too optimistic as Will and Nancy are my favourites and want Nancy to make her final.

Oh no! Once you get something in your head though, you become convinced. Hope you still got the final grade you needed/wanted.

Yes it will be judges pick, couples favourite and showdance. They changed the order last year and ended with the showdance instead of the couples favourite dance and I much preferred it that way.

I have a friend who works in TV production and done a few years on strictly...she always said the Blackpool parties were absolutely off the scale...
