Tyler clearly doesn’t have a fanbase as the minute his scores drop, he’s in the dance off. I don’t mind Ellie and JoJo but I do think she’s the weakest dancer left. I wonder what’ll happen next week for them

Re Ellie Johannes has said they've got a ballroom which she's pretty good at, so they should be okay. They also seem to have enough of the public vote.

I'd like to think not too, but if there was an innocent explanation you'd think he'd have wanted to clarify things.

On the other hand, maybe the real answer is boring and he just couldn't be bothered giving the tabloids the time of day. Hope it's the latter.

I'd kill for Huw Edwards to do a dance to the BBC 24 News Theme (Bill Bailey Remix).

Or one of the older people who do Fridays It Takes Two, like Hayley Mills, Elaine Paige or Angela Rippon. They might not feel up to a full series, but could be coaxed into doing a Lovely Waltz with Kai or Gio, I'm sure.

Could totally see Tony Hadley do a Christmas Special too, he likes popping up on random BBC light entertainment shows.

There was paso content just his shaping wasn't the best.


I'm saying this now for this coming Saturday all the contestants bar Kym and Will are entitled to put on the water works after the crying show they did on Saturday night.

He barely danced while she danced around him - there didn't seem to be enough for him to do bar walking from pose to pose. There could have been a lot more in the choreo so yeah, I'd say she let him down there.

In a good paso you can do knee walks, flamenco steps, impressive side by side work ie leaps but there wasn't anything like that in this.

It's also the second time this year one of the dances she choreographed has been pulled up for not having enough content - Craig said her cha cha had barely any CCC content as well as the paso lacking in, well, paso.

When the most exciting part of your dance is having your man tits on display, I’d say the choreo was somewhat lacking. It’s a shame cos he has the potential to be so good.
 
I don't think it it a 3 person final, no one has withdrawn that wouldn't have gone at that point anyway. Although I wouldn't mind Will leaving before, I'm expecting him to be there sucking the joy out of the show until the final. Hamza and Helen will be there too I think, but the fourth place is up for grabs.

The Christmas special is being recorded on 7th December.

I think the judges knew the dance off was not going to happen. Craig actually told Tony he loved his dancing.

I don't think he would have said that at that point, if the dance off was about to happen and then next thing, he would be voting to send Tony home.

I can’t be trusted with my maths but these are my workings and why I think it’ll be a 3-personal final (I know the QF and SF aren’t on a Saturday but it was just easier to draft it.) If I was on the Friday panel I’d be a superfan but I’m just a loser!

We’re left with 8 - Ellie, Kym, Helen, Fleur, Molly, Hamza, Tyler and Will so if we lose one a week between now and the semis, would that not leave 3? And the second part is how many contestants have been in the recent finals

This week was week 8, Blackpool is week 9, the eliminations started in week 2 and the final is in week 13, so there should still be 4 people left :)

Pretty sure this is week 8, 7th week of eliminations... well it better be, I can't bear the thought of a three person final, at least one of Fleur/Molly are probably already going to lose out to the whingepot!

Re Tyler, I never had a feeling he would be good at ballroom (going back to the launch show) and now I get the feeling he's more comfortable dancing by himself. He seems to suit the dances where there is more side by side than anything where he's in hold. Problem for him now is that he's used up most of those dances.
