Reading DS earlier and posters were saying the mishap with Vito and Fleur should have been shown.
I don't want to watch someone falling. ☹ It must have been horrible for them and they still went on and did their best in the dance off.

Maybe it should have been alluded to at some point, but that's all. It might have stopped the Scum newspaper trying to make a big deal out of it. I'm sure the BBC doesn't want anyone getting hurt and have a duty of care to those involved in an accidental fall like that.

And Fleur is the better dancer. James had gone as far as he was going to go and was quite happy to bow out. The judges really couldn't justify saving him over her.

Yeah, LadyLav is stirring the pot a bit by saying 'oh it must have been terrible if Craig wouldn't even mention it!!' forgetting that Vito and Fleur discussed it on TV today. We know if Gio had been involved the party line would be 'just a minor slip, and of course Health and Safety protocols were followed. Nothing to see here!'

I had to roll my eyes when she reminded people that Vito was the one to fall and then snuck in 'still a bit vague if Fleur was involved' you just said HE fell. Regardless it was made clear today that Fleur continued to dance, production stopped her therefore it would have been unfair not to let her continue at a push they could have replaced Vito with another Pro.

I don't think she likes there being another Italian stallion! She'll be happy he's not going to get to the final in his first go, like Gio.

I think your right, she must be feeling nervous that he may soon move on with 'all these Italian boys' taking up space.

They’ve shipped in 10 more dancers?
it’s going to be standing room only on the dance floor.
no chances of telling anyone apart :D

FFS at this rate he's going to have to start sticking numbers on their back like they are at a comp.

I think it should have been alluded to …but let’s face it they’re not usually backwards at showing people falling over and getting wheeled into A&E … even if it was just a hazy picture with a sad faced voiced Tess and the music of doom. It would have given some context to the fact the judges were sat looking like they’d lost a quid and found a Penny at the very least and the fact that Fleur seemed off it in the dance off.

I'm not a long term viewer so haven't actually seen them wheel anyone into A&E.

Tess could have said at the end something about being glad that they were okay after a mishap and then KEEEEEP DANNNNCING 😉

I would imagine that Craig was always booked on for today to talk about the couples, and that’s why Vicky Wardrobe was bumped back to Wednesday.

I did like the fledgling conspiracy theory that it was potentially a cunning plan to get rid of Fleur … paying no mind at all to the fact that Strictly couldn‘t organise a cunning plan to save their lives. They are At sub-Baldrick levels of cunning. If the BBC wanted to keep their already empolyed by them Eastender over a commercial radio DJ they would have just done it. James might have needed bribing with a box of Quality Street to come back for another week, mind.

Oh, we’ve had all sorts of boo-boos and injuries played out over the years.
Aliona was shown being wheeled into A&E and her foot x-rays shown and explained in great detail.
Natalie Gumede was shown collapsing to the floor in a dead faint in rehearsals When her back went
Phil Tuffnell had knee arthroscopy consultation shown.
Jade had her career ending injury replayed several times.
Ditto Will’s ill advised jump off the table.
Artem had a lone shoe lying on its side and then he was on the physio table.
Lalia went to A&E with a packet of frozen peas over her Ugg boot in a taxi.
Kara did most of the final with a Rapidly swelling arm at a very strange angle.
Bill Turnbull‘s ankle injury featured a lot As did Kate Garroway’s
then there’s all the blisters, toe nails and general strapping.

Just glanced at DS, yes, that poster is really trying to stir something up out of nothing.

Am glad to hear that Vito and Fleur had already discussed it on tv today.
Takes the wind out of some people's sails.
