Oh, we’ve had all sorts of boo-boos and injuries played out over the years.
Aliona was shown being wheeled into A&E and her foot x-rays shown and explained in great detail.
Natalie Gumede was shown collapsing to the floor in a dead faint in rehearsals When her back went
Phil Tuffnell had knee arthroscopy consultation shown.
Jade had her career ending injury replayed several times.
Ditto Will’s ill advised jump off the table.
Artem had a lone shoe lying on its side and then he was on the physio table.
Lalia went to A&E with a packet of frozen peas over her Ugg boot in a taxi.
Kara did most of the final with a Rapidly swelling arm at a very strange angle.
Bill Turnbull‘s ankle injury featured a lot As did Kate Garroway’s
then there’s all the blisters, toe nails and general strapping.
I completely forgot about Jade Johnson.
But it’s not like The Jump for injuries really.

And poor Kate Silverton getting through most of November 2018 on the heaviest pain known to man due to a rib injury. I recall watching her on the results show one week looking like she had genuinely no idea of who she was, nevermind what the steps were if she was called into the dance-off.

The producers must have been gutted that Dev dropped Dianne on her head the week of his Couple’s Choice when his VT had to be about his sob story and they couldn't make it all about Dianne's trip to hospital.
Although I seem to remember Stacey lying on a hospital bed the week of her Couple’s Choice because she'd injured her ribs or something and there was drama about whether she'd be able to dance, and then she came out and did the dance fine and it was like:

Lady Lav’s comments on that DS thread are so deliberately inflammatory. She needs to go back to her war with the shippers to fill all her spare time (and her many gushing comments about James Bye- he’s not going to shag you love).

If it was Gio she would either be saying it was ‘clearly standard procedure’ and telling everyone to move on or demanding he was flown to the Mayo clinic for an emergency brain scan.

Her management have probably realised they’ve reached the end of the road with her. She’s not funny and I’m sure anyone who liked her, don’t know after her antics when voted out. This time next year she’ll be working a normal job with an even bigger chip on her shoulder.
Jayde’s actually got quite a lot coming up including the Take That film and her own sitcom.

If they have parted ways with her then it isn’t down to lack of opportunities/success.

I'm very curious as what Jayde must have done to majorly piss them off as Strictly has raised her profile even more. I imagine a big comedy agent usually overlooks much more controversial behaviour than a Twitter meltdown (which didn't even get much press and was forgotten about fairly quickly outside of here)

It is curious. It may have been amicable but Popbitch have the wrong end of the stick? I enjoy PB but have come across when they’ve had certain facts wrong before.

I think it should have been alluded to …but let’s face it they’re not usually backwards at showing people falling over and getting wheeled into A&E … even if it was just a hazy picture with a sad faced voiced Tess and the music of doom. It would have given some context to the fact the judges were sat looking like they’d lost a quid and found a Penny at the very least and the fact that Fleur seemed off it in the dance off.

If this had have happened on Dancing On Ice, Phillip Schofield would have taken great pleasure on showing the clip when the accident happened and probably getting them to show it in slow motion. He loves an accident does Phil

But then their skate offs are done live anyway but say if the accident had happened in rehearsal they would have loved to have shown it

I checked them out and their home page made me think “/Peckham” was missing from the front but they do represent a lot of well known names. Unless the Strictly/Twitter thing was the final straw due to other stuff then maybe it was an amicable parting of the ways? I don’t know how much you need management when you’re a comedian but if she’s doing her own sitcom then maybe she thinks she’ll do ok on her own 🤷🏻‍♀️

I don’t think I’ll watch though.

Are people on here seeing things in Cameron that I’m not? I understand he’s young and all that but there hasn’t been one dance he’s done where he hasn’t been out of sync with everyone else?? It was extremely noticeable just on the results show on Sunday. I wouldn’t be giving him a partner any time soon
Nice work if you can get it ...
"While the BBC has never confirmed each professional dancer's salary, it has been widely reported that each one is paid a flat fee of between £35,000 to £50,000 to appear on the show.23 Sept 2022"

for this: - 'the role of the spare-parts'

Another reason I just don't get why they have more than 2 benched pros - and they have 5 this year?? If they all get paid the same, that's a lot of money spent for not a lot of work. I know they do some routines with music guests, but not all of them are needed all the time - from her stories, Luba seems to have spent the last couple of weeks just going to the gym.

And by the time Children in Need and the Christmas special comes around, they have enough eliminated pros to take part anyway 🤷

If the sitcom is 'Alma's Not Normal' then it's not her sitcom, she just has a part in it
