It's bizarre that this would come out so late in the week almost like someone really wants Fleur gone. But reading the details they fell before the dance started and were stopped by production on H&S grounds. No wonder they both mangled the foot fall/lift move they must have had a heady dose of adrenalin.

There were rumours on Saturday night that the audience were made to sign NDA's I dismissed this as mole-paranoia but now I wonder if this could have been related to their fall?

“Standing ovation” 🤣

Well the BBC are corrupt as they come? So is the Sun? Just billionaires trying to get one over and thick people still watch the news and read the papers and believe the spin.

I might chuck Fleur a vote seeing that the Scum are trying to put her in a bad light over something that sounds like a technical mishap before the dance even began.

As long as hamza is in the top half of the board she can have all 3 of mine.
The producers really should have foreseen it being gossiped about and implied it was shady by not showing it, but you know you they gotta keep up the pretence it's all live. At the very least it would have been prudent to mention it on Mondays ITT.

I predict there will be a statement explaining it tomorrow. But you're right, had they been open and honest about it, this could all be avoided.

I am sure loads of people will just read the headline and think that somehow Fleur was favoured or she asked for the fix. Seems really unfair but I was semi-resigned to them going this week anyway. (Shame it was her it happened to, as people already dislike her a bit.. if it had been Molly or Helen I don't think there'd be such a fuss).
At this rate Vito will have to take desperate measures, and turn up for the waltz in only his pants.

I mean, yes please Vito, I think that's an excellent idea.

Honestly, the ITT that came after that is probably my favourite ever :ROFLMAO:
It was that DANGEROUS air Jamelia had afterwards, like she had gone rooting through secret BBC documents from 1967-2009 and KNEW things, and would have told them if Tess Daly wasnt holding her firstborn child hostage just offscreen. It was great.

Definitely fighting for the top It Takes Two spot alongside the John Sergeant Memorial Hour in which everyone had many emotions and opinions, except Anton, who nearly widdled himself laughing over the whole thing.

It does sound like a bit of a non-issue - if it had happened on the live show, then they would have been able to start again.

Bit naive of Strictly to think someone wouldn't leak it, but then again, I don't know what else they could have down? No-one wants to see someone face plant the floor (especially if it was bad enough for them to need to be checked by medics) so I get why it wasn't in the edit. Maybe they could have included a short disclaimer at the end saying there was an incident that meant they had to restart Fleur's dance. But no doubt the Sun would latch onto that too

Poor Fleur though - I really hope she gets through this week. What a crap thing to happen on her birthday too

Isn’t it usual for the audience to sign NDAs?

This sounds like an absolute nothing story deliberately twisted by The Sun. They are such arseholes.

I feel bad for Fleur as stuff like this takes away from the experience, I voted for her for the first time at the weekend and will continue to.
