I suppose it does beg the question if the show ever rules out any pros over 30 from getting younger celebs. Nadiya has never had a single partner under 35 and Luba under 40 (including her Christmas partners). Does the show not think they can connect with the more youthful celebs?

It's a bit different with the male pros since they lean a bit younger now Anton is a judge. Noticed though that Gorka has never had an older partner despite being on for quite a while.

I think it just comes from a look based thing; maybe because Nadiya and Luba are the tallest female pro's they give off a more 'older than they are' feel hence getting the older celebrities.

Okay, so taller female pros look older than they are as do those with short hair. Got it.

It's not an insulting thing it just comes from a place of who may match better on a look level.

It doesn't always go down that way Amy and Dianne got the oldest and second oldest male in their first years over Nadiya; Richard was the tallest male if I'm remembering right as well so the heights didn't match either. Amy got the oldest male again in her second year and Dianne got the second oldest male last year.

Lauren could get a young guy who knows, just on her first year with a celeb they may give him to Michelle first who knows??

*Quickie- iTT was there a reason Giggles did wardrobe on a Wednesday?
Dianne really shakes head loved that dress. How did the zips enhance it?
Tyler - he's hyper kid on ITT, but thankfully controlled on Saturday
Hamza - i really didn't like that drop he did on Saturday, it disturbed me, i would rather his knees go than him collapsing with head injury (makes me shudder).
Jowita should have got the point for haribos (just the brand name for fizzy (colas) sweets!
Will trying his hardest to relax, keep trying - you might just get there and enjoy the experience for fun.
Nancy was a blast.
Janette (or as them bbc intro guy called her janet) - usual Janette.

*(Wasn't so quickie in the end)

Apparently, the sun is running a story about Fleur and Vito’s dance off having to be done twice because she fell the first time. They’re trying to label it a fix obviously, but it says it was a really bad fall and both of them had to be checked over by medics so surely it was only right they got to redo it? Hopefully this won’t affect how people vote on Saturday but I think some will fall for the fix narrative.

Also intrigued to know who feeds info to that rag.

Are they trying to recreate the Jamelia and Peter dance off drama?

Oh for the love of God, who is this 'insider'? is it the same person who claims that Molly and Nikita are in the throes of a wild affair?
Wouldn't this have come out from an audience member?

ETA: via DS: the BBC have commented: seems like a fuss about nothing. They slipped before they'd even started.

God knows, it could all be a pile of shite but even if it’s true it literally says James isn’t arsed anyway. I hope it’s not the producers trying to drum up publicity (this series has been on the dull side) and using Fleur as collateral damage.

ETA: supposedly it was an issue with the chair and they fell before they had even started dancing. So a total non-issue.

A non-issue that sadly will probably see her exit this week (that was likely anyway but even more so now). The idea that James - who was desperate to mow his lawn and unpack some sponcon boxes in his shed - wasn't desperate to go..

God, no wonder her DO performance was a bit out there - she must have been really stressed by the whole thing.
