Oh bless. I went to an audience recording back in 2017 (got in the ballot, still can’t believe it) and if anyone asked me I told them 😂 my mum however wouldn’t tell a soul!

Am I right in thinking there wasn’t a 10 in series 1? Or was it that there wasn’t a 40/30?

Yes! Maybe because it was all stripped back a bit because of what was happening but it had more heart. Less production and trying to sway me in one direction. Less sob stories cause they really couldn't compete with the public and less of the pointless field trips! Just people enjoying dancing!

There is an entire Only Fools Musical soundtrack to choose from as well, although there's only 3/4 good songs in it.

Though the unbidden thought of Anton and Shirley dancing as Boycie and Marlene just popped into my head and now I really need to see this.

That idea is far too good and sensible and therefore will never happen.
 
Caught up earlier, Hamza and Jowita & Fleur and Vito - Wow wow wow, both utterly brilliant. I wish I could watch Hamza’s again for the first time. I absolutely love him so much, he is so lovely and humble and the hair being attached to his shirt had me HOWLING. Loved the choreography for Molly’s but it needed more hips.

I think Tyler danced a really clean dance but I was a bit underwhelmed by it maybe from a content point of view?

I really love Ellie S and Tony. Thought Kym was great and I loooooove Grazianno so much 😂

Gorka’s lovely little speech to Helen was lovely đŸ„șđŸ„ș

Fed up of the overmarking of Jayde - she just isn’t dancing I’m sorry. I think she’s lovely but she is being overmarked and it’s so unfair on the others.

Didn’t like Will’s rumba. Matt looked like he improved.

Has Shirley been told off? She was being strangely nice last night
 I can’t cope with her flirting with Tyler it’s embarassing

both this and the killing eve idea are way too cool and interesting concepts for this show to consider đŸ€Ł but now i really want to see this luther AT, paradise circus is such a slowly menacing song, it would be đŸ‘ŒđŸ»

i might put money on him tbh! of all of them he seems to have the complete winner’s package - nice guy, good but not TOO good at the start, has had his big “moment” now, has a dynamic (and equally likeable) partner

 it’s early days but i think he could do it!

(he also, presumably, has a lot of cute animals to roll out in later VTs and his couples choice is probably going to have a really lovely theme. might see what his odds are đŸ€Ł)

I think that was the year she went too! I've given up trying to get tickets!
