I’d hope he’d be giving her a bit more than ‘an impromptu show dance performance’
Take that, Nadiya, you dance-partner-stealing HUSSY!!!!
Didn't that wicked witch, Nadiya, also 'steal'AJ's dress - the hussy?!

He seems to be totally detached or something. He doesn't seem like he is enjoying it at all.
I assumed that on some level he was 'in' on the joke of the Bros doc (not least because it was at least partly scripted) and so had some insight. But it isn't coming across that way now.I’m feeling rather uncomfortable about Matt now: at the start, I thought he would just be a tornado of pretentious hilarity (based on the Bros documentary), but it does seem that, whether physically or emotionally or both, something is not quite right, and it’s starting to make for quite uncomfortable viewing.
I do hope he’s ok: the pressure of the show is immense and if you’re not fully robust it takes a huge toll.
Seems reasonable to me!Is it ok to admit I liked AJ and Kai last year, it would have been nice to have watched them in the final, but that I’m not itching to see their show dance this year, and I wish Kai and Nadiya nothing but happiness?
Not to go all 'Judi James tabloid body language expert', but I did laugh at how different Gio and Richie's reactions are at the end of their dance
Gio: turns away from Richie and towards audience, arms raised in victory
Richie: rushes up to Gio screaming 'I love you!'
Also, I would love Karen to just reassuringly say, 'strong' to me on a daily basis, just to put me in a positive frame of mind

It is uncomfortable to watch - he's both taking himself far too seriously as well as being very self-conscious and self-aware... It's odd and not what I was hoping for when he signed up...I’m feeling rather uncomfortable about Matt now: at the start, I thought he would just be a tornado of pretentious hilarity (based on the Bros documentary), but it does seem that, whether physically or emotionally or both, something is not quite right, and it’s starting to make for quite uncomfortable viewing.

I think people do completely under estimate what a huge commitment it is, mentally and physically. Already there are reports of stupid hours a day/week training from people whose exercise before this consisted of a trip to gym if lucky or a stroll to pick up the papers. You don’t need to practice from sun up to sun down … in fact too much is probably counter productive anyway.Aye, I do feel a bit uncomfortable watching him, all his reactions are just a wee bit askew and he doesn't seem at all happy or engaged.
I do feel there needs to be a bit more rigorous medical screening of both mental and physical health before going on these giant reality competitions. Robert Webb last year should never have been allowed within 20 feet of a dancefloor, and before that, Will Young should most certainly have been gently dissuaded from doing it, given the (understandably) low state of his mental health at the time.
I notice that Gio has posted basically nothing about the show - nothing on Saturday asking people to vote (presumably knew they'd be safe), nothing since praising Richie (just reposted the show's story about them getting through). It does seem he's a bit disengaged. Not to go all 'Judi James tabloid body language expert', but I did laugh at how different Gio and Richie's reactions are at the end of their dance

I used to ring in to his radio show regularly a few years back (BBC WM) he hosted a music quiz and I couldnt resistwe used to have banter about our rival football teams lol, I'm really of the opinion that what you see I'd what you get with Ritchie.I feel sorry for Richie. Same sex partnerships are still relatively new on the show so it feels like he's being judged far more harshly- e.g, I've seen a lot of comments saying that Giovanni is wasted on him and he should have been given a better partner for his first same sex pairing. It's not fair tbh, it's like Richie is under pressure to do well in order to prove that same sex pairings can work, especially when the only other male/male pairing has been John and Johannes who did so well, and then on top of that he's with Giovanni who won last year, cue all the people saying they miss Giovanni being with Rose. Lots of people on this thread calling him annoying, I didn't see that at all this weekend, I just saw genuine enthusiasm and lots of energy and effort, I find myself warming to him a lot tbh (but I've never heard him on the radio so dont know if he comes across differently there)
Sorry for this massive rant

Gio did this at the start of last year's series too. He barely posted anything. But someone obviously spoke to him about it because that's why they started doing those stupid stories where they sat in silence, not interacting.I notice that Gio has posted basically nothing about the show - nothing on Saturday asking people to vote (presumably knew they'd be safe), nothing since praising Richie (just reposted the show's story about them getting through). I saw over on DS (apologies for mentioning that site ) that Matt apparently has mental health problems linked to the death of his mum. I wonder if he really should be on the show.
I wouldn’t be surprised if Matt quit. I just cant see that he’s getting any enjoyment or satisfaction from it.
