Maybe he needed one of the stronger personalities in the lineup who is a bit more of a taskmaster. If Oti was still on, maybe her? Or am I thinking completely wrong?

Using this year's pros - maybe a 3 way swap - James with Nadiya, Matt with Katya and Tony with Amy.

I think maybe if his mental health is fragile, Nadiya was the right way to go. Being partnered with a taskmaster might be stressful for him.

.. and not in a good way! he's hilarious! i need the rest of the adams family to go now with kay, and also i need Tess to wear trousers all the time- she stands legs wide apart all the time and it really annoys me-awful looking! meanwhile, Claudia is 🔥🔥🔥

This is interesting about Claudia, because she really annoys me. First of all, her fringe is too long, it irritates my eyes, never mind hers. She is not in the least funny, especially when she talks that way with a pause. And as for her clothes on Saturday ? The seventies want the pink bell bottoms back please. I may have to give up watching because Motsi does me head in, Shirley is a bit rude at times, unnecessarily, and the singing is not as good as it used to be. Perhaps I am just hard to please. In fact, I probably am, because most things on tele seem to be rubbish 😂

I can't bear Claudia's fringe, who even knows what she looks like under that bloody thing? She's constantly peering through it (can I also say her eye makeup does her no favours) Her clothes never fit properly and she always looks a total mess. I think she's alright on the show and better than Tess, not that you can really worse than Tess...

His mum died 😔. I read somewhere (maybe here?) that he moved her out to LA so he could care for her. I always thought they had some sort of medical process but between Robert Webb’s heart and what’s going on with Matt, I’m not sure they even give them a questionnaire to fill out!

i am also very hard to please! i do like Claudia, and i think that's helped by how much i dislike the cardboard cut-out called Tess &her wide apart legs.
i love watching to see Motsi's hair every week.
As for Shirley, unless you have a penis you're on a hiding to nothing, and she particularly detests young, pretty women. i think she's not taking the aging process very well. If any if the male judges spoke about the female contestants the way she speaks about the men there would be uproar.

also i spotted Kym Marsh throwing daggers at that Mollie girl when Claudia was interviewing her after her performance. i'd say she (Kim)might be in Shirley's club as far as that goes.
i'm lucky this is only my 3/4 series watching, but the format is a bit tired and the same old regurgitated lines from both the Pros and the amateurs

Claudia always looks like her eyes are sore, like I do when I've had my contact lenses in too long.

(Article about Tony Adams today in the Fail. Apparently he had a fling with Caprice back in the day - purely based on sex :sick: His wife now is the heiress to the Teachers whisky fortune).

I read some of that, pretty tacky and ungentlemanly. I wouldn't be at all pleased if I was his wife
Why was his wife given an interview on Saturday? Have other family members spoken with Claude or Tess?
