I bought my tickets when they were announced for the tour, before her injury.

I'm sorry can you point me in the direction of where that was said because I don't see that anywhere??? The only thing I can see is that she was going to do her show dance on the tour but obviously thats not happening anymore.

But Trish has been written out. I heard she was too heartbroken to continue living there.

ETA - I read the other comments so if it’s not Hollyoaks yet I’m thinking yes to quiz show or maybe some sort of documentary series? Maybe based on her love of fitness? 5 episodes at least is a lot for that kind of genre though really

Obviously gutted that AJ can’t do the tour and finally perform her showdance, but does this picture look photoshopped to anyone? It looks like they’ve just stuck two pictures of them together 😂.

Does this mean they haven’t actually met yet or are too busy training to take a photo together?

I think someone says training starts on Monday so they probably will meet then for the first time!

I was just thinking, I hope they don't give Maisie too much tit for daring to stand within arms distance of Kai. But tbh, in terms of potential romance, they don't strike me as being each other's type at all so I'm sure they've got nothing to worry about. But you never know, stranger things have happened. God, imagine the carnage :ROFLMAO:
 
Kai’s statement is all terribly professional ( as expected, he can hardly gush about AJ and not big up Maisie!) , but I’m heartened to see he says he expects to dance again with AJ ‘very soon’. Checking on the twitter and DS stans - they are bearing up, bless them. All hoping she can do the tour next year ( as am I).

At least they have two fast dances and not a Rumba :) . AJ’s being lovely in the comments and said she’s making a ‘Helllooooo’ banner to bring along!

Where will they be dancing 'very soon' though?? He probably wrote that out of kindness to be fair.

I see you didn't respond to my last question asking where will they be dancing their showdance (apart from tour which is now not going ahead)

It really was in the statement, honest! It was the producer being quoted and that they were hoping to get her to perform the showdance in the next series ( in place of one if the pro dances). I didn’t keep a screenshot.
After the tour disappointment I’m sure they will find a way to make it happen.

I'm hoping they ask AJ to do the tour next year ☺️

I had a quick look on twitter and there are some comments along the lines of how dare they dump AJ from the tour (rather than her not doing it on medical advice), how dare Kai not withdraw if he can't dance with AJ (rather than him being under contract and probably grateful they found him another partner so he can still be in the line up) and how dare they dance a quickstep because Kai and AJ did a quickstep (they're gonna be fuming when they find out it's been a Strictly staple from day one)

So business as usual then

(I get why they're upset, but Kai is still doing the tour - silver linings and all that)

I'm sorry but I call BS; there's no sight of that anywhere not even on DS and they would have definitely picked it up.

I can see AJ dancing in a future Christmas special or maybe even next years tour but until then the AJ fans needs to face facts her strictly journey is now over.

I think they may ask her to do the tour next year but I don’t think they could guarantee her Kai as a partner. Unless they give him someone this year who definitely isn’t doing the tour of course - and that’s probably the best move because I don’t think there’s ever been a winner who hasn’t done the tour, and of course he’d love to win

I can’t imagine she’d do it if not with Kai to be honest. That is the partnership people want to see.
I don’t think Stacey did the tour?
