After the tour disappointment I’m sure they will find a way to make it happen.

I only found this article in The Sun. It's no confirmation and the source is an "insider". I do believe they'll invite her back next year though!

I’ve had a look and I found an article that includes a quote from the Producer - sorry MC but it doesn’t mention in this one having them back and even says something about AJ’s journey not having ended the way they wanted it to. You might be able to find a different interview but that’s what came up when I searched

Edited again to add - Stacey did the tour but danced with Aljaz. I’m sure their fans would’ve only wanted to see her dance with Kevin but they probably still turned out

Thats from The Sun so I would definitely take what they say with a pinch of salt. But seeing as there is no official confirmation I wouldnt get anyones hopes up that Aj and Kai will be returning to do a dance.

Well it’s a whole year away, so loads could happen between then. Her career is bound to take off, and who knows if she’d be available? For me, only the 2 together would be right, but that’s my personal view. I have no qualms about stating how much I love them together, as it was a magical partnership.

Yeah I’m afraid I wouldn’t give my husband that much loyalty tbh 😂

If they’re made for each, as friends or partners, then they will make it work and they can dance all the rumbas together they want

I hope you take this in the spirit it’s intended but I don’t think anyone is any doubt how you feel about them! On the Laura Whitmore thread AJ’s name has come up as a potential replacement for Love Island a couple of times and I posted this morning that she might not want it - I’m sure she’ll be inundated with offers. Or she might keep the love for dancing and dance with someone else if Kai’s not available. Only time will tell

Yeah my heart has always been on my sleeve for those two!
The only way is up for Ms Odudu , and I’m here waiting for it, she deserves only the best!

It is business. If they ask her and she has availability she will do it regardless of who they offer as a partner same with the Christmas show that's how the show business world works it's not about emotions and personal relationships. Plus AJ doesn't make such decisions alone her management will also have opinions too and they wont be happy to loose money over her emotional connection to kai.

I have seen some suggesting that Kai shouldn't do the tour/dance with someone else what dreadful people to have as fans this is his career, and in the pandemic era performance jobs are few and far between especially one that pays this well.

Of course he should do the tour - he’s a contracted strictly pro, and wouldn’t get paid otherwise! It’s his career after all. I’m sure he'll do a great job with Maisie as he is a great dancer as is she.
 
Everything is very raw for AJ and the fans right now so it seems super-important that she and Kai get to dance again, but by next September it will probably have faded. AJ and Kai will hopefully still be close, but who's to say they don't have a fling and then find it awkward to be in the same room together?
Things change, is what I'm saying: I remember Gio swearing that he and Ranvir would dance together again on their last ITT. And they were never seen together again! 😭

Might be even more awks if she is offered ITT as a job - and she had to interview him each week! I’m sure they’d cope though! ( and really hope she does get offered it, as she’d be superb)
 
I would be a rubbish shipper, i barely even remember the last series 😂. Who has the energy to manifest a relationship for people that aren’t even them, talk about said manifestation with other shippers, fight the honour of their shipper-ness (even though nobody has asked them to and it’s generally weird) AND follow what everyone remotely connected to them is doing 🤯

Switch up week would be good- would be interesting to see how the celebs dance under the teaching and guidance of someone else
 
I feel for AJ but I could never believe that she was going to be well enough to start rehearsals next week. Even that IG story from a couple of days ago had her barely able to put weight on it yet. It’s a shame for her fans who were so excited to see her on tour but I’m sure they’ll invite her to do the 2023 one if she wants to.

I can’t imagine the producers will invite her back for the launch show as much as her fans want to believe a vague quote in The Sun. How would that work? Here are Rose and Giovanni, the reigning champions back for the traditional winners’ dance, and also here’s AJ and Kai who didn’t get to dance in the final due to injury and we wanted to make it up to them even though everyone has moved on now. It seems far more likely that she’ll be invited to do the Christmas special if they go back to having past celebs on it.
