While I'm Strictly Come Name Dropping, I met these two in a pub a few years back. Both are bleeping tiny - Google says Aljaz is 6' tall, but I'm 6' tall and was towering over him, and he's really slightly built in the flesh as well. He looks like a strapping big bugger on TV, too. That being said I made a joke about duelling him for Janette's affections, and the ensuing friendly tussle suggested an incredible strength : mass ratio. Nice dude.

Janette looks almost frighteningly dainty in the flesh - like a vigorous sneeze could break her - but has the most astonishing tolerance for gin cocktails. Drank several hardened boozers under the table, and didn't even seem like she'd had a drink. Also her hair is very, very shiny. Nice dudette.
Ooh exciting! the glamour! my 'AJ Pritchard eating a pasty at Bristol station' anecdote can't compete.
Sounds like a night out with Aljaz and Janette is a right laugh.

Managed to be awake in time for Karen’s 7am workout. It’s good if you need low impact ( I certainly do!).

Bit of a random crossover of my interests happened this morning. I was listening to one of my favourite podcasts, All Killa No Filla, and one of the hosts was talking about how she learnt a new phrase to describe a certain type of bloke - a curtain wiper. And she learnt is because she saw someone post on Facebook about Rose and Gio, saying 'i really hope she doesn't leave her boyfriend for that curtain wiper'.

She looked it up and if you hadn't already guessed, it refers to a guy who ups and leaves straight after sex, but not before he wipes...himself on the curtain. Anyway, I was cackling away when I heard this whilst walking the dog earlier 😆

Well that was an education I didn't expect when I logged on!

It was defo Marian Keyes who came up with that for him! (Later shortened to CW). Looks like she has deleted her tweets where she called him that though! and I think she came round to him this year

Ah, she's clearly influenced someone on Facebook. I've never heard it before and now I'm slightly obsessed lol

Goodness me, the social media from all the pros and celebs ( who are down for the tour) is like tumbleweed today!
Someone post something please!
I mean Aljaz’s nieces are adorable, but that’s basically it :)

Was so funny wasn't it - do you think Rachel is a Strictly fan? She doesn't strike me as one but she loves her sequins and knew all about Gio and Rose!

I didn't realise Marian Keynes has originally said this - my fave podcast talking about a phrase my fave author started, happy days!

She definitely doesn't strike me as a Strictly fan 😆. Kiri is though - she's said before she loved to do it if they asked her. Hopefully one day as she's on TV quite a bit now

I mean rehearsals start Monday. Is she really going to be able to dance seeing as she can barely even walk?
Doubt she will be dancing by Monday but no reason why she can’t join rehearsals later. She said throughout the show that she picks up dances very quickly. I’m actually surprised at how well she seemed to be walking albeit in a boot still.

Also, getting rid of crutches is often a scary thing and from experience it’s terrifying to walk without them for a while 😭 I was moving like a snail for days even though my pain wasn’t even bad 😂

She should be able to observe the dances and work them out with Kai, and maybe attempt a little bit of the gentler steps by next week. She was walking quite well in the video.

I think there is an enormous difference between being able to walk and dancing, which requires you to constantly shift your weight, and in rhythm too, using all sorts of muscles and ligaments you wouldn't use for walking.

It's a great sign that she's progressed from crutches, though!
