WOW. That is quite extensive

I find her a bit overbearing on DS, but i agree about her being quite nice on there a lot of the time. Nice by DS standards at any rate 😆

That dance was the complete opposite of a stitch up! Bizarre

It's like if they're worried that Gio might do badly that week, they need to make sure they have pre-emptive reasons in place that absolve him of any blame 😆

She had a meltdown because on the Friday ITT panel they barely showed a snippet from it and the guests didn't say much. She was convinced that they were being stitched up and that the show had decided they weren't going to win! Ofc it turned out that the details of the dance were being concealed so that the silent part would have more impact. She never mentioned this again!

I am living for the chat about her extensive files on Gio! I am imagining her in her villa in Provence with an enormous glass of red and an Excel spreadsheet. She absolutely does adopt an air of authority about him that shuts people up. AT the same time she was threatening people for posting stuff about Nonna McGill's husband, which presumably is public knowledge if you dig..

Talk about Ego I'm pretty sure the McGills with their extensive wealth can deal with such matters themselves. Only I doubt they could care less people that level of wealthy are used to being talked about!

Absolutely, especially when she was no doubt well aware she’d been tagged in the boys stories and shown there. I expect she’s rather revelling her ability to entertain those two hotties! I’m presuming both of them have to isolate till they’ve done day 2 pcr now.

Good point I forgot about all the testing, with the tour rehearsals starting up next week they are cutting it fine if they return a negative.

Johannes is still in SA, Janette and Aljaz still in Croatia, so probably even more risky leaving it even later.
Side note - AJ’s brother, who was with her family at Christmas has had covid since 27th ( fine now and no symptoms, fully vaxxed, he’s a doctor) . AJ has been very quiet ( unusual for her) so some folks are wondering if she is isolating at the moment.

I thought she must have a connection to Gio at first because she speaks with such authority! But it turns out she’s just a fan who knows far too much about him. She’s harmless but I quite enjoyed her disdain for Maura which seeped through every time discussions about Gio’s personal life were attempted last summer.

i find her a weird one, she supposedly lives in france yet knows every last detail of strictly, how does she even get to watch it.

OMG it was delicious! 'they make an attractive couple' was her only pronouncement. She was seething that her precious Gio wasn't coupled up with Emma Watson or somebody suitably classy.

I just had a look at the AJ/Kai thread on DS and apparently we are all insecure and jealous! no need for that.
Just because we are not shippers - I think it would be the same for any shipper here - nobody would be interested! (I find the AJ/Kai thread funny, unlike the Rose/Gio one which is insufferable with people trying and failing not to ship them..)

While I'm Strictly Come Name Dropping, I met these two in a pub a few years back. Both are bleeping tiny - Google says Aljaz is 6' tall, but I'm 6' tall and was towering over him, and he's really slightly built in the flesh as well. He looks like a strapping big bugger on TV, too. That being said I made a joke about duelling him for Janette's affections, and the ensuing friendly tussle suggested an incredible strength : mass ratio. Nice dude.

Janette looks almost frighteningly dainty in the flesh - like a vigorous sneeze could break her - but has the most astonishing tolerance for gin cocktails. Drank several hardened boozers under the table, and didn't even seem like she'd had a drink. Also her hair is very, very shiny. Nice dudette.
