You need someone with real experience and skill. To go from useless tess go lightweight rylan...no no no.

Ideally it needs to be a Bruce forsyth type person who also has plenty of live TV experience. I'm struggling to think who we have aside Bradley Walsh and I'm not sure he is right for it.

Emma Willis is one thought, dermot o'leary maybe. Graham Norton.

Me too! I don’t blame her at all, I think it just says a lot about her presenting skills that she doesn’t do anything else. Or maybe she makes enough from Strictly that she just isn’t arsed about doing anything other than that.

I absolutely loved Darcy! I really liked Arlene too but she would always make sexual comments about the men, much in the same way that Shirley does and it just makes me eye roll nowadays

I wonder how much of that goes on. Sexy women dancers being hit on unattractive male handsy celebs who can’t believe their luck at how close you have to get. He wasn’t on it long enough (voted off first dance) but Gregg Wallace and going commando was always a bit suss.

Dominix Littlewood is an odious little man. I remember him during SCD trying to create an affair for himself in the press by saying he was having sex in hotels with one of the pros.

That actually made me warm to him when he did Priscilla in the pro dance- I'd assumed he'd take himself too seriously and be one of those macho 'no way am I doing that' types but he seems to love it! I think there's a good guy in there, he just needs to ditch the bimbos

On a side note did anyone else think Katya was being a bit unprofessional last night talking all through the judge's comments and saying whatever to Craig's score? I thought she'd been drinking lol I like her but that choreo was a mess last night.

I think that was an ESL thing - after in the insta video she said 'it was a pleasure to dance with you tonight', which is I think what she meant, rather than the more farewelly version earlier.
But yeah, she was feisty. I remember Gio rolling his eyes and saying 'whatever' at Craig last year and everyone giving him a pass for it..

It’s a story as old as time for Strictly sadly, someone almost always puts out a better dancer at some point.

Unpopular opinion but if the spoiler is correct then Dan will probably be the least competent dancer left…but I don’t think there’s much different between Dan and Adam. So if Adam is in it for a few more weeks, he might too put out people who are better dancers than him

Sorry English as a Second Language. I think she got her verbs mixed up!
I think she was just defending him passionately, which is what Gio did last year and nobody noticed. Just noticed she got a lot of flak on Twitter for it, while he (as per) never did!
