If you sign up for the show then I don’t think you should be cut some slack just because you’ve got a child either. Some people clear their diaries and some don’t but I don’t think anyone should be penalised with faster/harder routines if they can

Sorry to quote myself but I stopped mid-sentence and then posted when my husband distracted me 🙄.

It was Tuesday I think, Ranvir was in a taxi going somewhere (and she said she had the Viennese Waltz) and she was presenting the 6am slot on Wednesday. I didn’t see her presenting any other day.

Out of fairness to all the competitors, she should have an upbeat Latin dance this week, imo.

My memory is shyte - has Maisie done any ballroom ones yet?


Oh and talking about past good dances - didnt Cherie Lunghi manage a decent rhumba?

I’d also forgotten they use to show the coupes backstage and ask them to take to the dance floor - was a nice touch.

I love strictly but I do think its lost a bit of its class. I miss the traditional ballroom and latin costumes, the dancing to mainly traditional music, the routines packed full of actual content instead of running around and the Craig/Darcey/Len/Bruno judging panel (or even the OG days with Arlene) :(
 
I checked out of this series a few weeks ago, it hasn't held my interest at all. If I had to pick a favourite it would be Jamie, but three dance--offs suggests that he will be out this week. Hrvy and Maisie are very good, but they have been since the start, and I prefer to see some progression, but I find the designated 'journey' contestant this year dull. I like Bill, but he peaked a few weeks ago and has been overhyped. So in conclusion, I don't want any of them to win :ROFLMAO:

I think Jamie is a cert for the dance off again; the question is who will be with him???

I think Ranvir may struggle with the Jive as she seems more of a ballroom girl at heart and that's where she's excelled more in the dances. Bill also seems to have reached his peak although I think because he has an unusual choice for a song in enter sandman it probably will get him the votes. HRVY doing a rumba will be interesting although he is doing a fun charleston as well so he will probably get through. Maisie is doing couples choice so I think she will do well there. It will be interesting to see who will be in the dance off with Jamie.

I'll be chucking all my votes at Maisie this week.
