I think they are in the Honeymoon period with this house. It’s old, needs lots of work and will cost a bomb to run. Great if they had the time to put in doing it but as they are so busy here, there and everywhere I think it will be a nightmare for them. Unless of course they get a professional in to do it all. I’ve lived in a biggish house (not that big though!) and the upkeep is horrendous. At the very least they will need a cleaner and a gardener. Hope they haven’t got swept away with the romance of a big house in the country.

In this instance I actually don’t think Stacey was the idiot buyer, it looks as though someone pulled out late on and she swooped in with a cash offer.
I'm not sure because it was relisted in June last year. I presume the other buyer was before that then Stacey came in and bought it after that. Either way, she is an idiot.

I don’t get why people keep mentioning how much it’s going to cost....she obviously has the money for a renovation and upkeep....she’s just bought a £1.2 million house without selling her own, I think she will be fine.....

Of course she will. There will be companies queuing up to gift her all manner of things regarding the renovation. I just hope she does it sympathetically. It’s a period property. New and old can be done tastefully but we all know she has no taste or style. The running of the place will take some managing but she will have a gardener ( there’s probably one already been working there) and a cleaner. She will just do bits around the place for the gram talking in her new even more pathetic shaky voice about how she’s just winging it and pretending to be so relatable whilst loving every one to the moon and back!

So many influencers have moved to these old homes only to complain about how cold it is, how expensive it is to heat and how often things go wrong. You've got to really love it and be committed. Ruth crilly did exactly this and sold it after a few years of complaining about the inevitable consequences of living in a very old property.

It's easy to get swept up in the romance of it all, but many come unstuck when the honeymoon period is over.

It's not even the money to keep it running, it's the effort of even organising all the ongoing and never ending maintenance.

I'm sure they've planned for two gardeners to spend a day there a week to keep that in shape, but I'm not sure they know what they're getting into elsewhere.

I think when the last sale fell through they jumped at getting it for 400k off the asking price. They probably can update it with all the freebies and sell it on in a few years for a tax free profit to someone else that doesn't realise what they're getting into 😆

I said it yesterday but I'll say it again. Once you know the name of the property, the information you can find out is actually scary. Celebs may have an abundance of money, but the lack of privacy and how easy it is to gather personal information on the internet about their home is actually frightening. Obviously I've only looked because I'm a nosey cow but if I were someone with bad intentions it would be so incredibly easy to get the information I need.

I would love to know how The Sun managed to find the place because I searched everywhere looking for where it was. I’ve only now managed to find where it is she is because the pictures The Sun put out. You are right though, the amount of information I’ve managed to see is crazy, I imagine they’ve got security alarms sorted. If not I imagine little old Theo will sort them out 😂

If you Google the new house’s real name a Facebook post from the agent comes up about a price reduction for a quick sale in February so it looks like they bought it in a month and did same day exchange/completion last week probably as a cash buy.

and if the other owners where desperate to sell they’d have jumped at the chance even at a reduced price. We had to do that once - needed a quick sale, worked out to our benefit in the long term.
