Sofie Hagen #2 For someone who’s supposed to be a comedian, she’s really not very funny

I didn't like to touch on the dog stuff because pet people get HEATED and I am an extremely average dog owner who has never achieved 3 walk per day perfection but...not walking a dog after, what, 3pm? is pretty poor. Especially seeing as she is often found lying around complaining about being woke up at entirely normal times like 9am...

Don't own a dog, but don't know why she didn't choose a breed that doesn't require much at all in the way of exercise when she's so lazy. It's like she chose him on a whim, and didn't think about his needs at all.
I mean, the reason I *don't* have a dog is because I live in an apartment and often spend long days at work. Would do the walks no problem, but didn't think the lifestyle would be fair on a dog.

Lol at heated, you’re right so apologies for this fuel to the flames but…. She’s also in the privileged position where she could pay someone to do that extra night walk? I haven’t viewed her content since she was talking about 3 deliveroos a day but surely a dog walk is about the same as a deliveroo…? 🤷🏻‍♀️

I'm not saying they're wrong and yet, also, they scare me 😂

if she really wanted a dog she should have adopted an older (and smaller) one that needs less exercise, instead she paid god knows how much for a huge young dog from a breeder

i would've been SO annoyed if people working in my house used my microwave without asking me. Yes you can if you ask but seriously? I hate bad manners
Idk I feel like she was perfectly right to be annoyed in that entire scenario. Especially if they made no effort to engage.

the dog walking thing? No she should never have gotten Hank. She is lazy and should've gotten a dog that suits her lifestyle better.

Totally rude workers but be an adult and tell them, show them with signs or whatever, that they can't use the microwave or go as they want.
And complain to the sweet landlord lady. She could hire more respectful people and someone who speaks a little English at least. Probably chose the cheapest.

this is the thing, presumably the landlady had hired people she has used before, hence they assumed they could use the microwave etc as they had been told they could before, (maybe me being generous but this is how I view it) especially with the languagwe barrier. Either way, if, in that situation you don't liek it, tell them. Do not just complain about their "smelly food" on social media. I found this so uncomfortable to read and, as I said, very daily mail

Possibly but it's still rude from them. 100% tell them.
I didn't like the "smelly food" part either.
She's really petty and a nasty piece of work.

If Sofie wants to 'incorporate nature and movement' into her life, why doesn't she start walking her dog properly? Or actually move out of London to somewhere affordable that has more green space (seeing as she complains about her neighbourhood being unsafe all the time). I mean, she does not need to live in London. She never leaves her house and it's not like she has a full time job to go to. The only reason she seems to prefer city living is because she lives off takeaways.

Re her most recent stories about hoarding / clearing out -

Idk how to describe the type of archetype she falls into but basically someone who’s online, left leaning or plays to that audience, but has little out the work home and does low contact hours for mid/high financial reward? If that makes any sense?! But that group of ppl seem to really struggle with the basics of household and life management and always seem to end up hoarding tons of tit? Why is this?!

Too much time on their hands. When you've got a full time job and other responsibilities you don't have time to buy endless tit, and you have a good routine so stay on top of household management.

She just doesn't understand the value of money I think. Sounds like she has only ever worked contractual/ cash in hand jobs where you get irregular lump sums that are really hard to budget for. For most people, getting a regular salary helps you put money in context, like: "these shoes cost £400, that's one week's income. Perhaps that's not a sensible purchase", but instead it's: "these shoes cost £400 and I have £600 in the bank and probably another £2k coming in from my gig next week, so why not?"

This is really interesting thank you - and yeah that feast/famine thing is definitely something you notice in this lot and Sofie has been quite candid with it. Like it’s either randomly buying tit or having to spend 4 days on a spreadsheet and plugging her Patreon.

Agree with this. She just seems to buy stuff and worry about her budget later (despite the spreadsheets etc).

As joback says I also think there’s something in not having daily structure/organised work hours vs home hours which seems to make a lot of people fall apart and let everything get on top of them despite having so much time. When you have routine and structure you learn to fit everything in around your responsibilities because you have to, but if a lot of your days are just long stretches of nothing you don’t have that motivation.
