Also the narcissism shows when she acts like a bad comedian in a Lucy and yak jumpsuit is the crux of the issues with trans ideology. Calm down sofie babe no one is worried about you.
Whatever you think about it , lots of people have real questions around what happens to single sex spaces in prisons, in sport, in rape crisis centres. What happens to young people long term if they go on puberty blockers? Who is making a lot of money off other people’s misery by selling surgery and medication as if it will make everything better.
Her smugness and patronising tone when she writes never fails to wind me up 🤣
 
:/ I know you’re not allowed to have concerns about penises in women’s spaces anymore but how is it hard to understand that women are concerned that we & our children now have to get changed alongside penises? And no one gets to challenge that either theoretically or in person for fear of being labelled an evil TERF? I’m more scared of the cult of than actual trans ppl, like any idea that you’re not allowed to query is worrisome, surely? Aware this is opening a whole can of worms 😬

Sofie goes on about nuance but only when it suits her world view. So either you blindly accept what you’re being told by her or if you question the topic you are a nazi/terf.
And she’s still so blind to her own privelage that she can’t see that if her biggest issues are lying around worrying about someone saying the word woman near her and feeling like she needs to justify being flown business class as some kind of socialist favour she’s doing for her followers she’s probably doing alright.
 
She’s really pissed me off with all of this. Don’t get me wrong, I know I’m being triggered but her attitude is also dangerous. I was actively planning my suicide, but I still got up for work everyday, paid my bills and kept a roof over my head. I wrote suicide notes & ‘set a date’, but by her standards I wasn’t sick enough. Thankfully a fantastic therapist and two cats I realised I couldn’t stand to leave behind, meant I’m here two years later, and for the most part doing really well. I still have the odd day but most definitely few and far between.
So dangerous to say that if you can continue to function you aren’t unwell. Some people just have to, have no other option. I hate the thought of someone seeing what she’s written there and not reaching out for help because she’s made them feel they don’t deserve it.

Oh honestly, mate. She's so full of it. She just seems so detached from real-life. She has to make a couple of podcasts at once in case she can't make some for a while? Get a real problem.

I'm really happy you're doing better. Don't let her get to you, she's ridiculous.

What doesn't sound TERFy to people who call women TERFs, to be honest.

I think disabled women should be able to have single-sex care - TERF
I have concerns around someone with a penis in a female prison - TERF
I believe rape support groups should be allowed to be single sex spaces - TERF

I can't get my head round this with Sofie at all. I get why misgendering is hurtful/why people might want certain pronouns to be used....but if it doesn't harm you (which I'm assuming it doesn't for Sofie, unless I'm misunderstanding, as any and all pronouns seem to be fine) why even make a song and dance about your pronouns at all??

I feel sorry for her fans who are trying to be nice by defending her or correcting on her behalf just to be told that they're wrong and that they should keep out of it.

It just feels like another thing she uses so she can have a go at people for not understanding how things apply in a very unique and nuanced way specifically to her🙄
 
I think it’s a case of lose or lose with her. You could agree with her and she would still have a go. I don’t get it. She seems to have a really loyal fan base who have basically supported her through lock down finically by buying her shows etc so I don’t get why she patronisies and belittles them when they clearly care about what she has to say and support her. It’s weird.
