I agree, male comedians usually come off as really insecure and desperate for validation that they are nice or whatever. I wonder if he ends up being asked about it, if people here hVe worked it out surely loads of other people will have too?

But I don't think this story in the papers is about Sofie. On that podcast episode of hers I mentioned he was already broken up with his wife. They divorced in 2019.

a huge part of the ‘banglord’ show that’s Sofie is currently touring is around the premise that she hasn’t had sec in 7.5 years. For the first 5 years of that timeline she was ‘dating’ a well-known comedian who had a girlfriend. Sofie said they would lie next to each other in bed but never had sex, and he’d always give reasons to have sex soon but not that night. How anyone would put up with that for 5 years is beyond me.
she also said that the girlfriend found out he was having an affair with someone else (a 16 year old fan) and confided in sofie about it. Gross.

Did she take any responsibility for this affair in her show? He's a dick but she's also a dick for carrying on with him for so long (but then she's also an idiot for having an affair but getting nothing from it )

I had the same thought.
I wonder if it’s just a bad coincidence? Like that Sofie had this no-sex affair with a man AND Mark separately cheated on his then wife.
(And whether it’s Mark or some other comedian I’m horrified at the dating a 16 year old allegation!)
