She’s only been living in London for what, 3-4 months? I’d say 2 hangovers where you stay in bed in the space of 3-4 months is a lot! Especially as a 34 year old woman.

Also, does anyone remember her mention either of these two hangover days in her stories at the time? No chance - it would have been cobble together some coffee thoughts at 11am, timestamp them as 5:51am, and dig out an old yoga video to post, no mention that “I’m in bits and incapable of leaving my bed for the entire day”.

Oh yes....I actually looked into it- it's a thing!! Very popular among the Bali instahuns (shocker) I imagine absolutely zero science behind it. 😂

Not to white knight her, but breath work is actually amazing and can be used therapeutically (by licensed psychologists) in work with trauma patients etc. etc. and works so well for relaxation strategies and the like in cognitive behavioural therapy.

But as you’ve said, stupid woowoo online trainings are rife amongst the instahuns - which is NOT the same thing as that used by therapists.

Also, can’t imagine anything LESS therapeutic that Siobhan O’Hagan belly breathing in my direction. Christ, the absolute rot 🤢 might need therapy after that.

The mentioned above, and when facilitated by an ACTUAL psychologist/practitioner (ie someone who has an interest & doesn’t just want to and a quick buck) it does have its benefits.

Breathwork doesn’t have to be a mad sniff and snort sesh being surrounded by crystals and sage, but just bringing yourself into the present by focusing on your breath during times of stress & allowing yourself to process the emotions in a non heightened state is even breathwork.

I have done more intense variations which have different effects - look up Wim Hoff he does some incredible things by controlling his nervous system with breathwork. ☺️

I don’t feel like this is the place to be bigging up this kind of thing, but it does have its place for sure. Just not in Shiv’s arsenal of weaponry.

Shivs 8pm Q & A mustn't have lasted long as she's searching and posting memes on her Instagram stories at 8.30pm.

Q&A my hole. Usual shite from her - no one on it.
Only so long you can talk to yourself in front of the mirror 😂

Interesting will have to look into it more 😊😊

As a 23 year old woman who enjoys my odd pint I feel sorry for her that at 34 the prospect of brunch, eating mexican food or socialising with friends without an alcohol drink seems inconceivable

Like, I dunno, she trained as pt what over 10 years ago? Should she not have all this tit figured out by now ???
If I was in the market for a pt i would certainly not be going to one who is making tit up as she goes along.
I just can't stand the attitude that a "good time" equates to alcohol and over indulgent food.

Happy Tuesday
