Whoop giving Shiv unsolicited advice this morning. Let’s see how long it lasts. Shocker that it says she doesn’t rest enough after 9 sessions in a week. She is hoping it will validate her crazy punishment training, not hit her with a dose of reality
And still so similar to Fitbit etc! Just slightly different presentation

I just dont understand why she does not work in actuary. Very good money, good work-life balance, she could make friends there or meet finance guys. As a person who is doing her bsc-s in her mid twenties(and later actuary exams) because of life battles Im so jelaous of her diploma.
She could have so much better and healthier life doing 9-5 than this.

Anytime Shivvy is home.. it's a picture of the Swords Express and a shpeel on how unhappy she was, being in a corporate job on grand canal dock not LIIIIIIIIIVING her life..

She can't stay out of Grand Canal dock when she's home. Sticking out like a sore thumb in her bra and leggings..

Theres nothing anyone should be jealous of with her.

All the signs point to her having a pass degree , number 1: If she had an honours degree she'd have bragged about it by now.

crappy college results would also explain her "career path" stumbling out of college into bar work, then QA , then HR then fitness.

Nobody would hire her is why she's not using her diploma.

But she has rewritten history to try to make out like she rejected the corporate world not vice versa.

Agree with all the above. She has re-written her own history to make it sound like she could have been this high flying actuary when in reality she isn't clever or hardworking enough to make it as an actuary. With the type of degree she got from DCU it's a bit like saying you are a judge after receiving an Arts degree with law as one of your subjects.....

The reality though is that she got a normal job in a software company, didn't like it, moved to recruitment, didn't like it/was given the boot by HR , moved back to the software company and was given the boot from there too (she let this slip in that Correct Opinion Podcast/youtube she did recently.)

With just her degree the best she could hope for is a trainee actuary position and the money isn’t great until you get a good few of the actual actuarial exams passed. Given how long ago her degree was she likely has no exemption so she’d be starting from scratch.

Right now she works an hour a day roughly. Even 9-5 would be a massive increase on this and actuaries don’t work 9-5 it’s a busy job especially at month ends.

Is that the (oft told) story where she is sitting in a room with HR, crying and saying she wished she could get paid to go to the gym?

I've always thought that story sounded like someone getting a p45 at a work disciplinary hearing not (,the way she tells it now) a lightbulb moment to follow her dreams.

She's lazy and obnoxious now. Imagine how lazy and obnoxious she was back in her office days.

Poor grades, worse attitude. There was no high flying corporate career for her. She did well making it as an Internet grifter.

Yea I always got the impression instead of HR helping her, it was more a ‘Siobhan we need to talk, you’re obviously not happy at work and you’re not working to the best of your ability….’

in lay man’s terms - ‘people have said you are a bleep, you couldn’t sell curry powder to the Indians and you’re stomping around your desk’

And (as admitted by herself) she spent half the day in the bogs taking selfies for her fitness-gram.
