Barbie? Am I reading that right? What kind of Barbie game is she playing? I could see how something like Barbie's Night at Freddy's might bother her but we are talking about something rated E for Everyone. I just don't understand people who have everything they could possibly want and treat their jobs as inconveniences. I guess they think that the money will never run out. I think some people are in for a rude awakening very soon. We're heading into some difficult times and if Youtube can't put ads on their videos and Twitch has to cut back on how much they can pay them, what do you think they are going to do? People are already tightening their budgets and pawning items to keep themselves afloat. Very soon there won't be any pay piggies for these streamers to get money from.

I get that mental health is difficult but talk to me when you have a horrific accident and have to keep working through the pain because you have no other choice. I would kill to have the opportunities that these people have. Paying off all your debt, buying a house, brand new cars, lavish lifestyles and then they act like just showing up to work every day is too hard.

Yup. You read that right. She played Barbie Horse Adventure, a game from her childhood (mine too), and there was a few parts of the game that were frustrating (I mean it’s a pretty old game so no wonder). And because she was all annoyed and stressed from that 2-3 hours of streaming that game, she canceled her following stream TWO DAYS LATER. She literally blamed it on that game. I’m sorry, but if a dumb kids game gave you THAT much grief you have a pretty serious mental health problem. That or you’re just lazy.

I 100% understand that mental health days are needed and think they should be considered normal. I’ve definitely been there where I am fine, I just need a day. But I’m sorry. That is the dumbest excuse. And what bugs me is she takes days off from streaming at least once a week. She only streams three days a week. And half the time she will be 1-2 1/2 hours late and then get off stream early. People pay money to her every month in order to use her emotes and not have ads while she streams, but they are getting ripped off because she takes so much time off! And she will be late without even a heads up!

I have stopped watching vixellas streams and YouTube videos because it is blatantly obvious she just doesn't want to do this job anymore. It's all really low effort stuff that requires minimal effort and minimal editing. You can tell she does not care. She probably needs to take an extended break and possibly look at working in a 'normal job' as I think that would likely help her mental health. I've said it before having a job where you spend most of your time alone is not healthy.

I can’t believe people actually give them their money when they can’t even show up when they say they are going to.

I can’t tell if this is a generational thing, Simmer thing, streamer thing, whatever… but it blows my mind how often deli and Sasha both cancel streams because their “heads aren’t doing well.”

When Deli posted that last tweet about canceling streams, people were praising her for focusing on her mental health and reminding everyone to take a break, when in reality, it wasn't even mental health related. She clarified it later on by saying she "just wanted to enjoy time in Sydney".

Why do their followers have such a strong urge to defend and praise them for not doing stuff? They just keep enabling them to rely on their (very often) poor excuses for avoiding any hard work.

I don't get why some fans of people have to constantly blow smoke up their arse. The constant arse kissing must do something to the creator's mind, it has to.

Sometimes I click on random videos that are in the popular section of youtube (random influencers who don't really have a job title per say but who make vlogs etc like "dyeing my hair blue" or hauls and getting tons of views) and it's crazy the amount of comments praising them like they're their best friend or a special person "wow you're so great, i love your videos and your content !!" "wow this fits you so well you're amazing<3<3<3" "you're the best I wait for your videos all week long". Like it's insane.

Talking of Clare how much does she get paid for squealing oh my god Taz it's taz in the chat everyone look its taz go follow taz. Every single time tazkabaz or whatever her name is shows up.

I hardly watch them anymore either. Which is too bad because I really liked her. It is very clear that she doesn’t enjoy her job and doesn’t like pretty much anything anymore except reading. I think what I like about streams is that they are so much more personal than a YT video. You feel like you actually get to know them and are having a conversation with them. Now, Vixella BARELY even reads chat. So you feel like you’re wasting your time writing in the chat. And when she does read and respond it’s pretty much exclusively to her friends. She recently went on vacation to New York and when she came back SO many people were asking how it was and she refused to acknowledge that and wouldn’t talk about it. It was so weird. Her boyfriend when he was streaming was talking all about the trip and everything. But in Sasha’s stream she just sat there silently ignoring the questions about the trip and then would just talk about whatever. It was so weird. I get it, you don’t have to share every detail, but it just was weird and stand-off ish. I guess I’m just used to streamers engaging with chat as if they are having a conversation with actual people and being friendly, and she was not acting that way at all.

I work from home just like she does, and it can be difficult to force myself to go out in the world and not be a hermit (I’m an introvert). But she is hardly even trying. About a week ago (I thought this was super weird)in her stream she was talking to chat at how she was thinking about possibly moving to be close to friends but she didn’t know where. She kept bringing up LA area which I find so bizarre because I can’t think of anyone she could possibly be friends with that lives in LA?? A lot of people were suggesting Orlando because of lilsimsie and Luxiegames (she’s a twitch streamer) and once again Vixella was blatantly ignoring those chats and wouldn’t acknowledge moving to Orlando. It was so bizarre…She says she wants to move to be close to friends but then suggests moving to a place where not one of her friends live??? At least none that I’m aware of. She just makes no sense.

The fact sasha has only made one werewolf video on YouTube and that being a low effort random cas video and has only done one werewolf stream on twitch shows she has no interest in playing the game. I get being burnt out on one game but she doesn't seem to want to play other games either or even make videos. I always make bets with my daughter that sasha must have a sponsor when she makes actually a video. I'm usually right. Maybe she wants to move away from gamer and start being an la influencer.

I don't see the appeal with Vixella, no offense to anyone who does. There's just something I find off-putting about her. However, her videos do pop up on my feed sometimes and I thought she recently renovated her house or something? Now she's moving?

This. Can we talk about how annoying it is when another youtuber, CC creator or SimGuruNinja join the stream and then the streamer only responds to their messages and ignores the rest of the chat. There are subscribers gifting subs and what not, spending a lot of money on these streams and then being ignored.

I find it especially annoying when the person streaming will choose to have a long drawn out conversation with someone in the chat who has said something insulting or rude. I'm like dude surely you know they are saying that to push your buttons and get a reaction out of you. Lilsimsie will spend 5 minutes telling a viewer that they are rude etc etc before banning them. Just ban them stop letting people know what your triggers are

Yup I 100% agree. I really want to like Vixella, but after watching her streams for a few minutes I leave because I can’t with her. Right now she should be pumped there was a new game pack (even if it’s not her style of gameplay) because it gives her new content! I guess it just annoys me because she makes a lot of money with this job, gets early access to the packs, and still can hardly make content on it??? Like why even bother getting early access at this point. There’s no excuse to not be making lots of new videos on it.
And the fact people REGULARLY subscribe to her, gift subs, and give bits to her bothers me. With other streamers I think it’s great. But because she hardly streams and doesn’t even really acknowledge chat it just bothers me. People are basically rewarding her for nothing. At least with other streamers they stream 4-6 days a week for a few hours and are consistent. She doesn’t deserve half of her success.

When she was talking about moving she said she would just rent her house out. So the fact that she can afford to keep her house AND live in another state just says how much she makes. And honestly half the stuff she says to get pity from people just irritates me. She JUST got her drivers license today. I get she has driving anxiety. A lot of people do. But you JUST got your license and have such bad driving anxiety yet you are talking about possibly moving to the LA area??? What??? She is either dilusional or a lying “pick me”girl.

hahaha yes she posted a video a few weeks ago and I knew before I even clicked it that she’d be doing that weird disney game sponsor where she does a giveaway or something

I know it’s none of my business but ive always been kinda curious about vixella‘s money situation, she’s bought two houses in the last few years. Maybe the housing situation is particularly tit where I am, but I literally can’t think of any person i know of in their 20’s whose been able to buy a house by themselves, let alone two and that one she has now is no small starter house either.

do simmers make way more money then I think they do? i thought they were kinda of a niche side part of the YouTube sphere, but are they actually up there with some of the big gamer channels?

Vixella has been doing youtube for around 8 years initially and for a fair few years she seems to have put a lot of effort into building up her channel and making regular content and that's going to make some money especially back then when youtube adsense etc was reliable and regular. Along with streaming and people rewatching her old videos and let's plays she could do quite well for herself. She may be good at saving and we don't know what zeus money situation is. Anyone with a decent following can make money.

I can’t agree more. She actually donated through out the month and ended up donating over $30,000!! It’s crazy how much she makes. A few months ago I feel like she slipped and accidentally said around how many subs she averages (can’t remember how many). When you do the math with how much twitch takes out for their cut she still makes around $10,000 A MONTH from just twitch subs alone. I think that’s WAY too much. BUT I respect her for the amount she raises for charity through out the year, not just the month of may. And she streams daily AND has daily YT videos. She can be a bit much sometimes, but I just leave when I can’t handle her anymore. Love her or dislike her, I firmly believe she is the hardest working simmer and is BY FAR the most generous. I guess that’s why I just can’t stand when I see how many simmers also make good money yet aren’t consistent with their work and are lazy.

When they accidentally leaked all the creators’ salaries on Twitch, LilSimsie was near a million IIRC. Clare Siobhan was around 200k and Vixella around 100k. But I’d need to dig the excel document out to have a look.

Did anyone see Steph0Sims is looking for an editor? I’m hoping this means more regular content, she easily has the funnest and best sims video ideas and it’s such a joy and event when she does upload

Listen... Listen... That Barbie game I had on Nintendo as a kid was bleeping HARD MAN, okay?!

But no, for real, it was stressful (as a kid, I don't think I knew what stress was but, that game was a nightmare bc I suck at platformer games 🤣) but like, as an adult, if you're struggling with a game, like me and platformers, that's fine... But just TELL PEOPLE you aren't having fun and you suck at it and don't want to continue. It's NOT causing you so much stress you need to "recover", bleeping please. 🙄 That is such a ploy for attention and babying. These people say tit like that so their stans don't get mad or realize these people are unreliable and not worth the time to watch.

This probably sounds weird but I am more than okay with youtubers and streamers earning a lot of money if they put the work in and if people are paying subs or bits they get what they are paying for. The idea that someone can be given a fairly large amount of money to simply not create videos or stream regularly is a slap in the face to people who are paying to subscribe or even just watch their old videos. I don't think people should feel obliged to make videos all the time or stream every day as regular scheduled days off are important but there should be some consistency.

I like finding small YTers so I went to Tazs channel... She edits WAY to bleeping much. Like, girl, leave a bleeping SECOND between edits so it gives people a break. It's like one long ass run on sentence bc she edits so close together theres not a single breath of space between her edits. I thought I was going to go insane.
Granted, it was one video, so maybe its not on everything, but I haven't gone back bc, while I talk a lot and talk fast, it was exhausting for my brain to catch up with how quick she'd edit bits and how there wasn't a second of dead air between edits.

Is this how children are? Good bleeping God. They must all have ADHD if they can't handle ONE SECOND of dead air before they get bored....

And the reason they DO that is BECAUSE they know they get attention. It's like the children who leave nasty comments on videos. They want attention. If you just ignore, ban, or delete, they don't get what they want and maybe someday they'll shut the hell up and stop annoying you🤣

I am poorly, and a family member gave a gift card to me, so I cracked and bought the Create a Furry Werewolf Game Pack.

I strongly suspect someone possessed of a modicum of brains and social media savvy at EA/Maxis must have read the riot act to after the My Wedding Stories and Star Wars fiascos, because this thing is a thousand times better than those buggy messes.

It's not perfect: the wolf-form in Create-a-Sim is deeply irritating and wouldn't stop flailing and howling whilst I was trying to add cool scars, and the PERPETUAL RAGE thing is a little tiresome (I think you can overcome that as you progress up the skill tree with perk points, etc). I've not had their weird bug where your wolf form turns invisible, but then, I don't have any custom content or mods...

But there's a ton of game play and new interactions and world-building, it meshes really nicely with the vampire pack (and probably spellcasters too, but I don't own that). And the new world included with the pack plays like a dream: it almost feels like a Sims 3 open world with how far you can roam around, well done to the designers, credit where credit is due.

If you like occult sims and/or grungy '90s outfits and industrial building stuff, this would be a fun pack to own. It really does feel like the team at EA/Maxis actually enjoyed making this one, and took some pains to get it right. Or maybe they just got a better budget and timescales from their EA masters for once, who knows. It's decent anyway!
