In reality I think Big would have dumped her for good when he married Natasha. I never bought the whole romance lingering between them over 6 seasons. I mean, Big was supposed to be this wealthy corporate guy, he was obviously amused by Carrie initially, and attracted to her, however after he and Natasha married I think in real life someone like him would have cut ties with her.

No, I think she was a self obsessed idiot. She kept going on about "is everyone on SNL now discussing me? " when she learned Nina worked on the show. Utter cringe.
 
That was abit of a harsh vote for SJP she isn't naturally beautiful but she is far from ugly, she has so many beautiful features, skin, hair, amazing figure. Yes her nose wasn't perfect and yes she had that weird mole thing that she eventually got removed but all that made her relatable. Compared to the carbon copies walking about today my goodness they all look the same, implants, fake teeth, nails, lips, brows and hair! Tweek away and use filler etc but remain natural as possible.

Yeah I agree, I watched SATC for the first time as a young teenager, watching it again as an adult and seeing how immature she was I found weird
 
The Nina Katz thing was so bizarre, she just kept saying that no one knew what happened between her and Aiden apart from them.....Except this wasn’t true as Carrie cheated on him, and he clearly told Nina Katz this. If Aiden wanted to tell people about how badly Carrie treated him, that’s quite frankly tough tit, it was the truth.

Aye she made out like there was some myserious mutual set of circumstances behind why they couldn’t stay together when really, she just shagged someone else and broke his heart and that’s the tea!!

same! I remember going through something similar at the time with my ex, we were young so not engaged situation? but we broke up because he didn’t want to be serious with anyone and then we had a catch up a year or so later and found out he was living with someone! 😭

Definitely one of my favourite scenes.

Exactly. She started off as a funny interesting character, wittily commenting on the dating game. By season 4 she had become a 15 year old schoolgirl devoid of any sense, and completely lacking self awareness. Could this be when Michael Patrick King took over the show? The show lost itself midway. It started with the girls questioning the nature of relationships, and if women can be happy single, only to become a conventional fairytale, the whole Russian interlude in Paris, and the way they all end up in happy relationships. It cheated its audience. Not one of them ended the series single and happy. Even Samantha had to settle down.

I lived there for a while and god, I miss Magnolia Bakery’s banana pudding SO much. There are better bakeries in general though.

I don't like banana. The cupcakes were..ok...nothing special but I was just happy to be there!!

My favourite food was Speedys diner at 1271 Broadway. Didn't look much but it was just ace and I've never eaten at a weigh your plate place before!!

Where did you live? Why did you leave? I love NY so, so much

Never been to Speedys!

I lived in Chelsea, I was only there for work temporarily (less than a year). Would have stayed if I could!
