Ok ok it's pure tit but....

It's winter and everything is grim and it's silly escapism, colour, sunshine, friends

After lockdown I'll hate it again
I watch a lot of tit TV( especially now, god knows we need the escapism, Emily in Paris I am looking at you ) but even for me SATC2 is just a step (leap) to far

The tour is brill isn't it! The lady who led our one was hilarious, such a fun day.

I would love to do that.
Never quite made it to usa
Dragged my hushed round Paris on honeymoon 2004 looking for satc scene and failing.

I agree enjoyed 1st movie
Not so much 2nd.

I loved satc from moment came out think was 1997 so I was 17.
I loved the show but all my exes and even my husband hated it.
I often wish repeats and when dvd were a thing had the box sets.

But its true as we grow older things change we see things new light.
Carrie was incredibly selfish.
I really liked Harry and Charlotte in the series.
In the film I felt they seemed different less hands on with the nanny.
As I grow older only one I relate to was mirabeau.

I didn't mind charlotte, not my favourite by a long way but I always found it insane that he forgave her for saying how people looked at them in the street as she was so much better than him or whatever. I don't think I could ever come back from someone saying that to me

True, but it was insane to let her convert to Judaism if he wasn’t going to propose, he knew she was doing it in order to marry him.
Plus his best mate was quite the dick! 🤣

I used to watch this show when it first aired in Britain, I think from 1999-2004? I was in my early 20s and found it refreshing, funny and liked the characters. I bought the box set several years ago and still occasionally watch episodes. Its definitely dated a bit, and Carrie was a neurotic witch to her friends and her men, especially Aiden. Her worst moments are when she has to pay Aiden for her half of the apartment and she bleeping expects her friends to bail her out? She goes to Charlotte and whines to her that shes rich so should help her.
Also the scenes at Aiden's country shack when she "accidentally " phones big and invites him over, because shes bored? Talk about rubbing Aiden's nose in it. Carrie was vile, and very self centred. I loved it when Miranda called her out on her masochistic attachment to Big when they were clothes shopping.

Carrie really is the worst, she's actually such a bad friend. I still can't believe she had a go at Charlotte over that. She literally makes everything about her, she's dreadful. I don't know how she has friends. Remember the bullshit bagels? 😡😡😡

I rewatched my favourite episodes last weekend. I was late 20s when this was out and my friends adored Friends. I always loved SATC. Carrie and Big breakup number 1, when he came back engaged and their affair is my fav parts. I was in a messy relationship at the time so of course it resonated. I hated how towards the end Carrie just had to be with somone whether they fitted or not. Berger and the Rooskie were my least favorite of her men. By the time she got to Paris the clothes her spending power etc were just not credible. The movies too were awful.

I liked Divorce but did read that there was some fall out between Sharon Horgan and SJP. Though I also loved Catastrophe? Anyone else.

The Russian, my god how I hated him.

Really loved Harry and thought was a brilliant match for harry

Big I had a love / hate relationship with him. He was selfish but he acknowledge who he was.

I watched the series when I was quite young and I remember thinking Miranda was such a moody cow but really she is probably the most relatable in terms of life hitting you fast as an adult!
