Carrie has become a crazy cat lady, though is an irresponsible cat owner as she allowed her kitten to wander out of her apartment while she took a call from Samantha.

The Samantha cameo was her sitting in a taxi calling Carrie from London saying she couldn't make the Last Supper due to a missed flight, she said duck a few times, said goodbye to the apartment on speaker. That was it.

Charlotte woke up from her hangover and lectured Harry.

There was more talk of Anthony's ass virginity.

Miranda went to visit Steve's new bar on Coney Island. They agreed to carry on as friends only. He made clear he hoped she wasn't going to go straight and basically duck him over again.

Nya got some prestigious award, became something v important in law terms (I zoned out) but still wasn't happy because she didn't have a man. Said she wasn't going to Carrie's party but Miranda persuaded her with promise of Michelin chef. Turns out Nya had met said chef before and she dropped Miranda like a hot brick as soon as she saw him and they were flirting with each other and ended up going home together.

LTW got upset when Carrie called her kitten her baby and ran to the toilet - discussion with her husband about "did she wish her baby away?"

Seema was all angsty over having said "I love you" to her bloke and him then going off taking phone calls. Carrie told her she was the one with the problem.

Che and Miranda talked, Che did apologise for the comedy routine but wouldn't agree with Miranda when she said it wasn't funny.

There was a cringe moment when Carrie made everyone go around the table saying one word that they would like to let go of.
Carrie's was "expectations" though of course she didn't stick to one word and made a whole speech.

Anthony found out his boyfriend was planning on going back to Rome but by the end of the party he'd decided not to and Anthony had decided to let him have his way with by taking his "ass virginity", which we were shown with Anthony looking horrified in amongst a montage of other characters either having sex or, in Harry and Charlotte's case, trying to figure out setting up a new iPhone.

Miranda had to run off to do a BBC interview about refugees which she was completely inappropriately dressed for wearing an off the shoulder evening dress and big fancy earrings, then she went off for drinks with British woman from previous episode.

Che and the bald girl got it on.

Seema's bloke told her he loved her and asked her to go to Egypt for 5 months, she said she couldn't because of sand, her heels and her job.

And Aiden turned up throwing stones at Carrie's window while she was cuddling her kitten (named Shoe). Shoe was chucked to one side while she let Aiden come up to the apartment he would never set foot in again.

She noticed he had no luggage, he told her he had to stay in Virginia with his boys as Wyatt had got hold of magic mushrooms at 14 so he needed to stay with him til he was out of his teens (which is only 5 years as he turns 15 next week).

Carrie held her head in her hands and said they were "back there again" but then Aiden did a finger clicking thing about how fast 5 years would pass and then there was a sex scene where Carrie actually had no bra on for a change but we saw far too much of Aiden.

Next day he left, she waved him off with her kitten (now in new apartment), then Seema called and said they needed to go to the beach, Carrie said she couldn't face The Hamptons, Seema said it wasn't there she was thinking of and next minute they were on a beach talking about waiting 5 months/5 years for their men, Carrie ordering drinks some attempt at another language and I just sat there wondering who was looking after poor Shoe...

This recap of episode 11 is far better than mine...love the description of Aiden's jacket as "BDSM Barbour" ... 😂 https://www.theguardian.com/tv-and-...ery-and-the-oddest-cameo-since-geri-halliwell

I was furious at that. Especially the way she stated she didn’t have a man to share with it. Not that she was missing her ex, she was just incomplete without a man. All of them no matter how accomplished they may be professionally just want someone by their side.

And just like that we all realised we were codependent and went into therapy.
I'm delighted that Miranda's potential English love interest is Toni from Peep Show's sister. She doesn't have cancer, but she does have chlamydia. However, it's symptomless (y)
Omg I was wondering what I recognised hee from!

Moments of this film have given me goosebumps. Great soundtrack.

That rendition of Auld Lang S is immaculate. I cried during the bit where it shows how they're all spending NYE.

Cried at other bits too. At the time of realease I didn't rate it highly but SATC movie 1 gave me a good PMS skrike and laugh just now.
Totally agree with this! It wasn’t well received when it came out but compared to AJLT it’s great. I think the bit where Carrie is grieving over what happened with Big in Mexico is really powerful with her friends just trying to get her to eat.
Some parts however are terrible, like Charlotte not wanting to touch Mexican food and Miranda screaming at the staff “YOU HAVE WIFI??” 😂
