I thought he may have been the guy she was filmed kissing but just googled and this one has longer hair View attachment 941128

It just makes no sense that she’d be dating this soon after a 20 year marriage / 30 year (I think?) relationship. Why try and cram so much in when you’re p much guaranteed to get renewed…?

On Stannie’s note - agree it felt really weird. Surely she could have just got Charlotte or Miranda round and mentioned in passing that she went out for a goodbye brunch as he’s off on tour halfway across the world? Unless they need Anthony to become more of a main character in his absence…?

The hip surgery really doesn’t make sense. The first ep she complained of a bad back, and in the upcoming episode she’s randomly having hip surgery after no mention of pain is she suddenly going to start limping and struggling to walk in episode 5?
Exactly and episode 3 (I think) all she did was walk around New York (as she couldn’t stop) in ridiculous heels

i am so confused about how old they are supposed to be... my grandparents had hip surgery in their late 70s (they had done manual jobs all their lives) my parents are now in their 70s (having done office jobs) and neither of them nor their friends are even close to this?
I don't think hip surgery is just for the elderly, my sister in law's fiancé has just had his done and he's 49 and has been an office worker all his working life
That said are they trying to find the most hideous hats ever for Carrie to wear
And how many issues are they trying to cram into each episode? Part of me thinks don't watch but then I'm horribly drawn to it 🙈

true, I guess it is just everything into all episodes... deafness, hip ssues etc etc... are there really only going to be 10 episodes?

Yeah, we get it. They’re all OLD. By the end of the season, Carrie will be zooming round New York on a blinged up mobility scooter, Steve will have one of those ear trumpets, Miranda will have to get a kindle so she can enlarge the print in her textbooks and Charlotte still won’t be able to move her face.

It feels like the scriptwriters are all 20 years old and imagining what life after 50 is like...everyone's deaf, dying, drunk, or having hip surgery, and nobody has ever met a black person before.
And none of the scriptwriters have actually watched the original SATC which is why all they characters have had personality transplants.

A lifetime of ridiculous heels ever waking hour. She even power walked in them. Payback’s a witch!
