1) pray to the Vinted gods
2) reduce it a little and see if anyone bites
3) message people saying it’s only available until Sunday and then you’re slinging it
4) put the price up (worth a shot)
Put the price up? I'd love to...will that work? It's something I really didn't think folk would like but it's proving to be v popular so I'm kicking myself for not asking for more 😂

Question for mums - do you ever list toys? I have some toys (some battery operated) that are like new - it’s either list them or put them out for the charity collectors tomorrow.

Not sold, but I have bought. Cheap and in bundles. I don't think they've got a high resale value unfortunately. But there will always be a home somewhere that wants/needs them.
---
Over 300 Vinted sales and I've finally got my first InPost mix up!
Already exchanged more messages over a £1 baby outfit than I care for 🫠

That’s 3 of us in this thread who’ve had inPost mix-ups this week 😮

I bought a sequin top and it’s arrived but there’s a loose thread at the front with a couple of missing sequins. It’s not really noticeable but I’ve just looked back at the photos and I can see the seller has hidden it by draping the sleeve across it. I can’t decide whether to make it an issue or not. It was only £15 so tempted just mark as ok but drop her a message. What would other TTs do?

I'd report as issue - I think a lot of sellers sell stuff like that and hope people don't raise an issue with it.

As a seller I would have either tried to fix it or deliberately took a photo of it and mentioned it in the description.
If you had known about it would you have still bought it at that price? If the answer is yes then do nothing but if you wouldn’t have done then either leave feedback or raise an issue depending upon how much hassle you be bothered with!

As a seller, is there anything we can do about the InPost mix ups? I've told my buyer to report it as an issue to Vinted, but she's saying it's my issue to resolve. I'd sort it if I could but everything is pointing me to the buyer needs to report it?

You’re right, she needs to raise an issue if she hasn’t done already, otherwise the sale will complete and Vinted will not step in after the money is released.

This is the first time I’ve had a mix-up before so I’m not sure what will happen, but from reading other people’s comments online it sounds like Vinted will investigate it with inPost and then refund both the buyer and seller.

I raised an issue on Monday and haven’t heard from Vinted yet.. so I’m expecting it’s going to take a while to resolve 🫠

I raised it as the buyer but be careful she doesn’t shaft you and pick the wrong option.
If she says something like not as described and wants to return then it could end up being your problem as I assume you don’t want that item either.
There was an option to hit not as described and then wrong item type thing.
Tell her she has to raise it or the sale will autocomplete and she will be out of pocket not you that might prompt her to act

Quoting myself to add this screenshot of what option I used to report.

It’s the fact the photo very much appears that she draped the sleeve across to hide it which makes me think she knew. I would have asked for a discount if I’d known it was damaged at the front where it’s more visible. I mean, it’s not a show stopper, but you could see it if you looked. I did raise it as an issue and she says she didn’t see it before so I’ve just said I’d like to try and get it fixed. It’s not the end of the world but it’s just a bit annoying when people don’t fess up in the listing that there’s damage.

Yes it’s very sneaky SS behaviour. Call her bluff and say you want to return as it’s damaged. Never know Vinted might side with you

Inpost item from the other week still hasn't moved from my husband dropping it off at the locker. He told me a couple of days ago that when the locker opened, two doors opened at the same time. Thanks Inpost 🙄
