I feel like the driver twigged straight away as you could tell the sticker had tried to be removed but it ripped so it’s like the’ve gone duck it, not paid enough for this tit
Ah that’s even more annoying! But yeah.. if I was them, I probs would’ve done the same 😬

I bought something quite niche as well so it’s kind of funny thinking about the other person opening their parcel 😅

All my recommended this morning were scams. Block and report button used. duck this tit. I just want gazelles and coats and to sell coats and NB.
It’s becoming relentless with it and vinted just don’t do anything. There are some naive people that think they’re getting a “bargain”
Especially around Christmas.

The idiot that claims they “didn’t receive” the item I sent despite it being shown as collected has a suspicious username and zero reviews. I’ve been on vinted for years, I should have known better 😭

Did you get to keep the wrong item? I’m being a SS here but it’s worth a hell of a lot more than what o bought. Was tempted to hit ok but then my inner TT conscious wouldn’t let me

Before I started eBay, I was having a makeup clear out and dumping loads of items I had open that I went of or didn’t like the shades etc
Someone said why was it in the bin and not listing on eBay as it would have sold.
Apparently often bought by males who like experimenting 😜
Can you sell used makeup ? I feel a bit weird selling it even though I’ve cleaned with isopropyl. I have a huge collection of high end products that have literally just been swatched (extreme recovered impulsive spender girl here) so by vinted standards it’s “used”.

I’m still waiting to hear back from Vinted unfortunately, their response times seem even slower than normal atm!

You might end up with a refund AND get to keep the item, so it could be a happy accident for you 🙂

The item I bought was a bargain but worth around £50-£80. I don’t suppose you bought some foundation? Maybe I’ve got your parcel! 😅

What could you have done? Cancelled the order your end?

Has anyone moved their Vinted items over to Ebay? I've put some of mine up for Buy It Now and I've managed to sell a few at good prices. However, I don't find there are so many buyers interested in my gear.
I wonder if more buyers will move over to Ebay if sellers start selling over there.

I find in my experience ebay has more respectful buyers, and you can sell things priced better on there. only issue for me is things take longer to go but its a nice seamless experience when they do and you get your money instantly

Well this week is going great for me as a buyer 🫠

Bought something new with tags on eBay for a Christmas present, opened the package and it absolutely stunk of cigarette smoke. I’ve never received anything that smelled this bad before.

The seller then told me their mum smokes downstairs but not in the room where their clothes are kept. They said the smell will go away in a few days if it’s left to air out.. but I thought smoke is notoriously difficult to remove?

Thankfully they’ve sent me a return label so back it goes. I’m just genuinely shocked people still smoke indoors these days?!

I bought something on Vinted 5 days ago and they’ve still not sent it. I know there’s still plenty of time, but the seller has been on every day listing new things. I’m getting a bit nervous that it’s not going to be sent 😞

I've got the same problem. Today is the last day and I don't think they're going to send it. I chased a couple of times and got 'yes, will definitely send today/tomorrow' but nothing. So aggravating. It was a nice jacket that I really liked too.

Narrowly avoided being the scruffiest of slags and missing a mail out date (although I post said I had 5 more days) absolutely loving all the stuff that’s leaving my house at the moment. Such a welcome feeling.

Question for mums - do you ever list toys? I have some toys (some battery operated) that are like new - it’s either list them or put them out for the charity collectors tomorrow.

I haven’t listed any but I do buy them. I think anything wooden/Montessori ish or collectible/themed (Brio, Happyland, Bluey etc) does well. I also bought my kid the Leapfrog 100 words electronic toy/book off Vinted in a misguided attempt to keep her occupied in the car.

I don’t buy soft toys. Having said that Jellycat or similar might be worth bothering with as a seller.

Yes I do, tend to sell well just be careful of the bigger stuff and think about what your’re sending it in. Sold something and then panicked as couldn’t find a box to put it in.
I also buy lots in fact 75% of my child’s Xmas presents are from there

Soft toys are the bane of my life
