If members were falling before I wonder what they are at now?
There was few weeks from Murrell being questioned to Beattie yesterday so I wonder if we will hear if any charges in few weeks or if anyone else taken in for questioning.
No auditors appointed yet either I presume
Humza is on shaky grounds if he continues his support for them too.
 
I think humza genuinely may not be smart enough to know what he's got himself into.

The plan was for him to be a useful idiot.

I think there might be some truth in this, she must at least be interviewed soon. No one can believe that her and her husband never really spoke about work at home.

I don't think the arrest timing makes any difference, they've had nearly two years notice that the police are investigating the missing money.
 
Anyone else think there must be more to this than just £600k? They’re rumours about how they’ve handled other monies for things like covid relief for business etc in the millions. Plus there’s no clarity on donations vs regular mbr payments. It’s like they reached the bottom of the party bank account a long time ago.
Other observations - why do they all have that tight wee mouth feature? 🤣

Colin Beattie who just ‘stepped back’ was the original treasurer who lost the position when someone else got voted in. The someone else resigned within months (as they couldn’t get access to accounts) and Nicola Sturgeon had to become treasurer until she convinced wee Colin to return. So errrr yes it could be very much dodgier.

I know of a Local SNP Councillor who presents as an individual Local Councillor but actually consists of her parents, husband and brother. I think it's actually her parents that do the lions share of the work behind the scenes too. Their family are literally SNP first. It's so bad that I doubt she would have married someone who was anything other than SNP.

Local councils all over the UK are infested with people related to each other which is bad enough, but when it becomes like this on a national scale it does smack of a 'banana republic' (is that a racist term now?). Apols if it is.

No wonder they all desperately try to cling on to power, that’s a family out of income if one goes they all go.
