I've often wondered that. Many of the people who comment on her IG posts seem to be genuinely fond of her - not only showering her with compliments but seeming really pleased for her whenever she talks about any achievement or success. I've often wondered what it is they like about her.

She's actually in the kitchen sink there, she's just so absolutely microscopic it makes sense to bathe there. She does length swimming in the actual bath, so I've heard.

basically yes. There were quite a few really good, nice, funny people in that community though - but obviously a fair few absolute rockets. She had her pack of sycophants who were quite nauseating vying for attention and approval. If anyone dared question or disagree with Sali they felt the full snippy force and she would be delighted if her pack then rounded on them.

I'm sure they both happily revel in the fact that Dan is punching a little bit (or at least they let the other one think it). KINDEST MAN SHE'S EVER KNOWN so there. And I have some thoughts about their relationship and the ankle bracelet, Sali seems to emulate the cool, late 70s mum esthetic a bit. Maybe a post for another time...or not. 🤢

This 'she's' when referring to inanimate objects is so tiresome. Hirons constantly does it too :sick:

When Sali got together with Kind Dan he was writing a lot of stuff for Harry Hill wasn't he? TV Burp. Then there was that dire quiz show which was cut short before the end of its run. I've heard a few bits of drama/comedy he's done for Radio 4 which were OK. But that was a while ago now. His style seems to be self consciously quirky with lots of puns.

It's weird how devoted they remain.

I made a suggestion once on a LE video, and got a 'good idea! Xxx' response ostensibly from Lisa herself which I was thrilled about, but after a while realised that there is no way that a woman of her means and with hundreds of thousands of followers was sitting typing all these responses, and that she would have outsourced this to a team somewhere who also probably delete crappy and weird posts, to give the impression that the LE community is all loveliness. Nothing wrong with that.

Snippi clearly does her own responses, which don't really give her followers any encouragement or praise, so after all this time, it amazes me how her followers have not got bored? Particularly because her content isn't informative, it's just long lists of stuff she's used.

Parasocial relationships are so strange. I guess there are lots of lonely people?

Thank you! I've been thinking this for a while (re calling everything 'she') An ex friend (and ex GTLer) did this a lot and it drove me mad.

He was writing/had written Touch of Cloth with Charlie Brooker, so probably the pinnacle of his career in terms of critical acclaim.

(I know TV Burp did well but didn't have the cachet of Touch of Cloth is what I mean.)
