Ryan Reynolds & Blake Lively

1
Way before any of this stuff I listened to a podcast called Beyond The Blinds - there was a Ben Affleck episode that mentioned Blake Lively a lot. It's a pretty budget podcast. They just read out blind items and you're left to decide what's true but I didn't realise that 'supposedly' Blake Lively and Ben Affleck had an affair while he was with Jennifer Garner and also there were a lot of items about Ryan Reynolds now being quite controlling and wanting to know what she's up to onset etc. I think there were also some about her doing the same to him.

Yeah there were lots of rumours about that at the time. And I have always believed, despite what they both say, that Blake and Ryan had an affair when they were shooting Green Lantern and he was stll married to Scarlett. The timeline is very sketchy.

There were rumours swirling for a long time about Blake and Ben Affleck. I absolutely love The Town, it's a great film (mmmmm Jon Hamm) but she is awful in it. It's like she watched Amy Adams in The Fighter, tried to replicate it and couldn't because Amy Adams is a great actor and Blake's crap.

The movie was tit snd I never read the book. It’s obviously dealing with serious subject matter but I did laugh at Blake’s outfits (they’re not even that floral, she mostly shleps about in oversized canvas) , the fact that she has zero friends until one is literally placed into her life to help in her dead flower shop, and her lovely teenage boyfriend has basically turned into a broom with eyes when they happen on each other years later and throws his weight and his shoulder chip around like Ryan from the OC.

Its piss poor, and there’s basically zero dialogue at the start of her relationship with the doctor, beyond ‘I want to have sex with you’ and her being like ‘yeah that’s cool let’s do that but not today’

There are better books out there but I didn't hate it. But the way they've styled Blake as Lily is bananas. The outfits are truly hideous in the film 🥴

I'd never even heard of this "ask her more" movement. What a load of nonsense. Asking celebs in full glam on the red carpet about their charities and dare not mention the dress they're paid to wear

Imagine getting outraged asking about the fashion, to someone into fashion, who gets paid by fashion brands, on a period movie that was all about the image and reviews called it style over substance o_O

It was Reese Witherspoon who pushed that one hard. It didn't catch on beyond a few particularly egotistical idiots as far as I recall.

There's a website, but yes it's rather bare bones.

It's strange to put actors and athletes in the same category. When actors (especially in Hollywood) are all about the image.

What the duck do they expect to be asked on the red carpet while they are wearing designer clothing, what their favourite brand of green tea is or what their opinion is on world peace?
They expect to be asked about their charity work o_O

When asked about DV, Blake couldn't even handle that so maybe she should stick to letting people know about Britneys dress if the plot line of thr book is too deep for her.

I have never liked Ryan Renolds.I dont like his humour and cant stand any films he's been in.His comments on social media make me cringe and there was always just something about him i found not likeable .
Blake I have tried to like,Im a GG fan and dont like Serena's character so Ive tried to seperate the two but I just cant warm to her.I love Taylor Swift and Ive even tried to see it as Blake must be alright if Taylor likes her so much. This is a stupid reasoning but whatever,I cant even force myself .

Does anyone believe them when they insist they don't have nannies??
I have a tiny bit of inside info on this and yes they do have nannies, but they are referred to as ‘household assistants’. Actually you’d be surprised at how many celeb couples deny having nannies and use this term.

Jude Law was always quite pleased to have an actual nanny, I heard.

How hard would it be for her to say I'm not a trained professional and sign post to organisations that can help? Instead she turns a serious question into a complaint about members of the public.
