I imagine the other 5 might do a joint statement.
I think so tooI imagine the other 5 might do a joint statement.
Same, tragically ironic the circumstances of his after having worked so hard to conquer his demons. But, yeah, I wasn't a Friends fan.I didn't like Friends at all but sad to hear he's died, seemed like a nice funny guy
Woke up to this news, so sad.Confirmed by Sky News
Friends star Matthew Perry dies of apparent drowning at 54
The actor launched to fame as Chandler Bing on the sitcom Friends, which ran for 10 seasons until 2004. A law enforcement source said no apparent foul play was involved in his death.news.sky.com
I would advise NOT reading it if you want to remember him closer to being Chandler Bing. His writing was honest — brutal, at times — and I would not want to read it now, after his tragic death. Maybe wait a few years?
Second this. I read it last year when it came out - it is an incredible and astonishing piece of writing, but a very hard read. To feel the pain running through pretty much every year of his life was so sad. It was a miracle he made it to 54. So today’s news wasn’t a huge shock - but I have found it unbearably sad. Such a loss.
My daughters and I have always used “Friends” as a reset button — when life gets too much, we pop it on and watch a few episodes. Matthew Perry was a big reason why — he just had that comic timing that made most lines hit with a laugh. While I am sure we will carry on with this tradition, it will not be the same knowing he is gone.
And Chita, I read his book. I would advise NOT reading it if you want to remember him closer to being Chandler Bing. His writing was honest — brutal, at times — and I would not want to read it now, after his tragic death. Maybe wait a few years?
Thing is though, the statements might not be in their own words. It might be a well rehearsed public relations statement, lacking in true sentiment.I would think they’re shocked, and that they may be giving themselves time to put out a statement that strikes exactly the right note; not always easy to do when you’re reeling.

I hope I'm wrong.
My reason for this assumption is because, judging by the reunion show they did a while back, the rest of the cast were somewhat estranged from Matthew because of his lifestyle choices.
Anyone else have to look up wtf Pickleball is, or just me
Matthew Perry's Friends co-stars break silence on his sudden death
MATTHEW Perry’s Friends co-stars have said an emotional goodbye to the actor, after his tragic death this weekend. The 54-year-old – who played Chandler Bing on the hit NBC show&nb…www.thesun.co.uk
Statement from all 5 I feel so sad, that they had to sit and come up with something like the world was waiting. I couldn't imagine having to do that after losing someone close to me. I can feel their pain in that statement if it makes sense like they don't owe anyone anything right now. I truly hope they take time and be there for each other
PM is inconclusive so they’re waiting for toxicology results now
Doesn't this make it seem unlikely it was a cardiac arrest/heart attack? I reckon his cause of death will be very similar to Aaron Carter's.
Shame. I used to live near him. He retired to Devon. I’m always remember him in the pet shop boys film as a serial killer singing ‘Always on my mind’. And in lethal weapon?RIP Joss Ackland.
