Devastated waking up to the news this morning 😭😭 I've watched friends so so many times. It's been there when Ive needed a laugh, a cry, or literally just like I needed a friend. It was my whole teen and twenties years. Sending all the.love and comfort to his cast mates, and his family :( I literally was watching 17 again a few days ago too, he was such a funny and talented guy. What a huge loss :(

Yeh prob too upsetting then.

Channel 5 in the UK have been repeating Friends lately.
I never get bored of it.
I love all the characters.

People say music is the soundtrack to our lives.

I think Friends was too.
A whole load of us know the characters so well and still compare stuff to scenes and situations from the show.
That's a legacy.

Just hurts all the more knowing Matthew was so unhappy and yet made us all laugh so much while he was crying inside.
 
I woken up at 5am this morning and soon as I saw the news the tears came, genuinely so upset by his death as he went through so much to stay alive. I had watched friends since it began and like so many i continue to watch it still.

I was always hopeful that they could have made another episode in a few years, but now there is no way that could ever happen as Chandler was such an integral character in the show. RIP Matthew.

I haven't seen any statements from the other Friends yet.
I guess they are in shock.

I don't think they would want to do another episode now.

Especially as it was announced early hours of the morning UK time and late evening US time. They are still in shock and would be going to be bed with this on their minds

The first thought on my mind wasn’t ‘I’ve not seen a statement from one of the other Friends’ as the thought never entered my head. They need a day or so to process it. If one of them or all of them want to put out a statement let them do it in their own good time
