Real Life Crime & Murder #27

But the men today are all men. They had partners, wives, jobs. How can any of us know truly which men fall into the "ok" category?
Indeed. It’s many more men that you think who would take the opportunity if it’s offered to them, as these men did. Ones you probably know and think are decent.
And TBH I think more men should be standing up to condemn this behaviour, as women do. Maybe they think this is a women’s issue (and let’s face it maybe they just don’t care) but I’d argue it’s a men’s issue. It’s about how men behave towards women if they think they’ll get away with it. Only men can change that.

bleeping hell are these people getting on my tits.

It's gets worse doesn't it! ... The adult sons are in 40s, unemployed and live with mum. Appealing that they are working class too:

"We're a working class family, we're not millionaires. How else are we supposed to pay for all this?'"

Says she owns her home - gonna have to sell it im afraid

And mine. I know I sound heartless, but it's their own fecking fault. Her daughter said 'People have said she was daft not to get insurance, but she didn't know she was going to get ill, did she?"

That's the whole point about insurance - it's to cover THE THINGS YOU DON'T KNOW OR THINK MIGHT HAPPEN!

She owns her own home - sell it. The sons who live with her, and who are unemployed could somehow afford an expensive holiday - let them cover the costs. The responsibility for this is on the family who should have refused to go with her if she wasn't insured.

Don't forget the adult grandson "Who is autistic" - pull that heartstring.

Jason Hoganson, the man who was released early from prison and lasted 48 hours before committing further offences, has been found dead on the day his trial for assault was due to start. They are now talking about whether to still go ahead with the trial

Jonathan Stirland, prosecuting, said: 'The matter was listed for trial and, on the day of trial, the Crown got news that the victim had sadly passed away.
'However, the Crown indicated that they were still minded to continue with the prosecution. That meant that the Crown had to get a death certificate and, I understand, an interim death certificate has been given to the court and the defence.'
Mr Sirland said Ms Usher's statements would be used in evidence, however, Mark Styles, defending, said the trial shouldn't go ahead as Ms Usher couldn't be cross-examined in person and he had letters she'd written to Hoganson, which 'undermined her credibility as a witness'. District Judge Paul Currer decided that the trial should still go ahead in Ms Usher's absence. He added: 'It's in the interest of justice for the trial to go head - it's allegations of a serious breaches of a restraining order and an offence of battery.'

I'm so confused. They've now updated all the articles to say it was actually the ex partner that died, not Hoganson like they first reported

So the adult sons and adult grandson live with the mum who has no health insurance?
--

This is just bleeping bizarre.

I don’t even think they look that alike.

Maybe without the makeup/filters?
I don't think they look alike enough for a family member not to identify it is not SK .

Add in the 190 witnesses, black magic and International hit men!
It gets crazier and crazier!

How did they not think basic forensics/a post-mortem/identifying the body would reveal the plan had failed...or were they hoping to be far away by the time all this was discovered so they could carry out the next hit job!

Well, she will be away from her family a while now.

I think it must be the partner who died, because you can't try a corpse (to put it crudely).

That is why the defence is complaining that it is unfair, because they can't cross-examine her evidence. The court is just accepting it as read.

All I can say is "Good." At least they aren't giving the bastard a free pass.

bleeping good they should be charged after watching that footage.

Good.

No doubt protestors will come out in force after this news but duck them.

This made me cry.

WTF is wrong with men?

I used to be "not all men" but you know what, these stories of abuse are almost always men doing it and it seems to be ever on the increase.

This is dreadful!

That poor woman - and five children motherless after witnessing terrifying abuse.

Whole life order for killer of Wendy Buckney:

Had previously served a sentence for murder and manslaughter before murdering Ms Buckney.

This article, from when he was found guilty, contains some horrific details, so proceed with caution.

He also shouted, when the verdict was given, that he hoped the jury would all get brain injuries.

Whole life tariff well deserved and I hope it goes very slowly .
