Plus they will need to get a ferry back to the mainland. They are likely to all be on the same one given they seem to only go a couple of times a day, so the lead is a bit pointless unless it's more than a few hours. They could have spent a lot more money but still not created a big enough lead to get off the island first.

I said earlier what annoys me about Isabelle is she is rude, critical, nitpicking and obviously irritated with her mum, but when her mother retreats into herself (which seems to be how she tries to handle it) the daughter acts all offended and 'what's wrong with you now?' kind of thing. So the mother feels forced to apologise.
It's quite uncomfortable to witness at times.

When Isabelle said that waterfalls weren't her thing, I wrote her off entirely. It's not the waterfall, it's her incessant need to in control/right/put down her mum. There was certainly a lack of self awareness in coming on this show and playing all this out on tv.

And though she did get into the water she made a massive song and dance over the fish, which clearly weren't bothering anyone else! I saw that as her being a bit of a martyr to be honest. I'm not a huge fan of Eugenie but I'm starting to feel sorry for her. She looks crushed every time Isabelle puts her down. I didn't buy it at all that relations are improving between them.
 
I just don’t like any of the couples this time around now the other mum and daughter have left ( who I liked ) I have noticed that the contestants are often rude and abrupt with the local people who understandably look bewildered to have these foreign travellers firing questions at them and demanding that they go faster etc because they are in a race ! I also dislike the sly ooh “ how are we going to get to the bus/ train station “ after they have completed their work and then instantly the host family offers to take them .
