We went out this weekend and baby was really engaging with people, happy around strangers, slept fine In a friends house and seems to be getting much better with looking at things. I’m feeling much more hopeful

So pleased to read this

The babies slept through til like 7/8am for weeks, but I always get woken up about 6/6:30 by her big brother. Her big brother has stayed at his Nans for the night and the babies decided to wake up for a feed at 5am and currently thinks it’s party time her brother must have told her Mummy isn’t allowed to have a lie in or something

The baby finally hit the minimum weight requirement for a swaddle bag which I bought when I was pregnant so we used it last night. It’s made such a difference! He went down into his next to me so easily, usually it’s a massive battle to get him down in there. We had been putting him in the Moses basket in the next to me but been trying to stop that. He seemed to sleep for longer periods and there wasn’t so much loud active sleep. I’ll see how it goes tonight as I don’t wanna jinx it but it carries on!

Nubs woke up at 2:30 and then would only settle on me so that was fun when he kept fidgeting side to side until 5:30 that is, when he decided he must lie on the bed and chat tit. I surrounded him with pillows so he couldn’t roll off and went to sleep and left him to it for an hour woke up to a leaking nappy. Don’t have kids x

Congratulations! I’m so sorry your birth didn’t go as expected. it sounds quite similar to mine, rest up and go easy on yourself, and it helps to talk about it to your partner Enjoy your new baby bubble!
