Left the Facebook group years ago as it was full of vulnerable people over sharing and getting their egos stroked. The whole 'oops, just bought another, don't tell my husband' stuff was very 1950s housewife.

Originally liked the dresses when there were more plain colours and just stripes, they were good for work. Went right off them when they became toddler-wear prints. The cult vibe definitely reminds me of Lucy and Yak (which also suit no one and look like CBBC presenter clothes).
The dresses became awful quality with the bobbling and the material is so cheap and makes you sweat.

I think Cherish is the Oversharer in Chief. I don't believe anything about her past anxiety, it's a marketing tactic. She's definitely got over it now that she's won business awards and is always trumpeting on about them. And I think she's manipulative for creating a business which creates spending addictions for fast fashion amongst vulnerable people! Don't even get me started about the cheap shoes and bags and the prices they charge.

Has anyone seen the woman who lays out her clothes including underwear and posts the photos on the group? She included a photo of her bobbled reusable panty liner 🤮

She also posts photos of her in her undies. To thousands of people she doesn't know. So weird. The people who post in the group are classic over-sharers and all desperately seeking some affirmation from strangers to make their lives better. I can't leave it - it's such a strange place. And unfortunately has completely messed up the algorithm for me as I click on so many of the stories to go WTF that Facebook offers them to me before actual friends and family posts 🤣

It's the does-this-dress/haircut/haircolour-look-good-on-me threads that get me.
The replies aren't ever truthful. I remember seeing one thread on there recently about someone wanting sunset hair. She went and got it done and it looked nothing like she wanted. Why can't people just be honest and say when something doest look good.
Most of the dresses are ugly and look cheap.

I’ve seen someone who puts their underwear on but not paid enough attention to see a panty liner. Off to look now 😅

I just went to look too. 🫣
I'd assumed the reusable panty liner was there by accident. Turns out it was because the birds on it matched the dress. I mean, I've never thought to match my sanitary products to my dress before. I'm amazed people have time to do this and upload etc.
😳

She appears to have done that more then once as the one I found was space themed. Why do we need to see her underwear in every outfit flatlay too? Am I missing something?!

Oh goodness don’t rely on dresses resale value. People used to say the same about cloth nappies, baby slings etc.

I’m really glad you mentioned cloth nappies because there were women who’d spend vast amounts on nappies in the latest prints and fighting over limited editions around ten years ago when I was in the baby stage. Do they still do that now?

It seems like certain groups of women have redirected their shopping addiction onto quirky print dresses instead of quirky print nappies.

I’m fascinated by brands like this that sell clothes that are at best, basic, and at worse frumpy as hell. Lucy and Yak are probably the worst for it. Even my toddler would find some of their clothes ridiculous and yet there are grown men with dyed hair parading around looking like CBeebies presenters.

I gave up Snag quite a while ago because I hated their adverts so much. I’m a plus sized woman but I don’t want to see big women in their underwear all over my newsfeed thanks. And no matter how many times I block them they come back! Better Tights are good. Less of the bullshit quirky options and just nice black tights. They tend to be a bit snugger and better fitted too whereas Snags could be saggy.

What I find odd about snags is there are no proper skin coloured tights (in any skin tone)? They’re all weird shades. Sometimes we just want tights that fit without having tartan legs

There are skin shades, look on their site :) They’re not often in the ads though which is a missed opportunity

I bought some Better Tights and I must say I was impressed with them. I bought fishnets (and flesh coloured to go underneath as it was December and very cold) and they fitted me nicely. I tend to find Snags too baggy.
And I saw the pic of the woman with her reusable panty liner the other day. I was like WTF?! Who on earth has the time for posh fancy underwear?! I’m happy with my saggy size 24 River Island bralettes (I’m an 18 now 😂) and M&S plain black Bridget Jones specials 😂
