Underpops are what I would call cycling shorts..others call them chub rub shorts I think.
Basically skin tight shorts that go under your dresses to stop your thighs rubbing and/or protect your dignity. They go under your Popsy dresses hence the name underpops 🤣 and obviously they come in every bright colour you could think of!

I believe underpops are chub rub shorts, fine, I own some but the name is dreadful.

So many photos of men who are "stunning", because they are wearing a crap cult like dress.
It's weird, yet I can't look away.

They also have longpops (leggings,) popovers (cross between a head band and mask) and popons (blanket hoodies.) No idea why they thought any of these names were a good idea 🫣

I saw someone else afterwards with a photo of makeup to look like a character from a film so I’m guessing it’s the weekly “challenge.” They used to just be a photo with a certain theme, no idea how the fox it’s evolved into charades ffs

Oh god, which one? I love one of the book ones, forgot the name but it’s a tie waist and the colours are quite dark, but never got round to buying. Never looked that close at the image though so I hope it’s not the one I like, I couldn’t bear to wear one with Popsy pretty on 🤮

I do like some of the named dresses. I have one which is the same name as a dear late friend and I bought it in memory of her. I think it’s a lovely memory as it’s bright and vibrant just as she was.
 
Omg so pleased to find this thread! I have had 3 Popsy dresses and I really do like a lot of the prints and felt the dresses fit me nicely. However the material is the big problem - as many of you have said it’s cheap and bobbly and also not breathable at all! I’ve actually sold one of my 3 dresses now and the other 2 will be going soon. But I’m not a fan of selling clothing that’s bobbly!

I meant to add, it really reminds me of the same people who are very cultish about the shop Lush. Years ago I joined one of the forums and was basically shamed into leaving for posting something I wasn’t allowed to post because I hadn’t posted many times (it wasn’t anything rude or offensive, I just wasn’t worthy as hadn’t been on the forum long - it was all very strange and over the top). There were people on there who go big collecting retro/limited/discontinued items and the demographic was extremely similar to that of the Popsy cult.

I know someone mentioned this earlier but these popsy people remind me of when I was pregnant and on the baby forums. There were a few on there obsessed with cloth nappies! Posting pictures of their huge nappy collections. It’s a bit odd that isn’t it! Look at all my nappies. It’s like they create a personality for themselves via their buying habits. There was one who must have had 50, then she got obsessed with those yummy mummy baby bags and must have had about 10 of those, when that bored her it was buying every colour of bugaboo hoods and constantly uploading “look at our colours today” pictures.

I joined the group a few months ago after reading this thread. It all seems very lovely if not totally batshit unfortunately for me I’m a cynical, miserable cow. although it’s not my style of clothing whatsoever I appreciate we all have different styles and the majority of them do look ‘nice’ but I honestly can’t believe how many of them would benefit from a good fitting bra! Anyway they all seem very happy in popsy land.

Oh god the yummy mummy bags, I haven't thought about them in years! My oldest was born in 2011 and I remember they were all the rage back then. I know exactly what you mean with the nappies too, not sure about nowadays but they used to have a good resale value, especially the limited prints. Kind of makes a mockery of the money saving aspect though to own so many 🙈

I made a comment to a lady that has been posting pictures of herself in her under crackers, reminding her how many people are in the group, it isn't a safe place, anyone can screenshot etc. I've been harassed by DM since by her and her family and popsy mods that she's upset. Blocked. Left group. It's BS.

I always want to comment on the mum posts where they divulge their child’s sensitive medical and personal information to the group for back pats, but I know I will be immolated by the Be Kind brigade.
