Peaky Blinders - season 6

I didn't like it.

I understand its Tommy's show, but I just felt the other arcs weren't solved. I feel a bit cheated we'll never get to see Arthur's ending or what became of Lizzy.I just felt Duke being planted in was a bit clumsy.

I did love the scene with the IRA and Arthur and the pastor. It was beautifully shot. The references to John were a nice touch and I love Alfie ❤

I think there's also an uneasy sense of what we know is coming in terms of the second world war and the holocaust too.

I just hope the film doesn't get made myself.

Loved the final episode but so many unanswered questions!

What was the deal with Finn? That scene between him and Duke seemed a bit out of the blue. Did I miss something?

And how did Tommy know about the bomb? Not complaining because that sequence was edge of the seat stuff but I'd love to know how he found out.

Also delighted to see my lovely Johnny Dogs get one last bit of screen time!

It was a satisfying ending imo but agree that it was time for the show to end. If the movie does get made I highly doubt any of the main characters will be in it. I'll probably give it a miss.

I think the movie has already been green lit so I’m pretty sure it’s getting made. I needs to be made because there are so many unanswered questions!
If Stephen Knight had written this series well we wouldn’t need a film. I just feel like this series was disappointing, especially for a final series.

Polly said to Michael it won’t be a bullet that kills Tommy so she probably told Tommy the same as we don’t get shown all conversations. So he knew he wouldn’t shoot him. Buy Alfie was staying in that hotel as the barman said there’s only one other person staying so he was probably listening and saw the bomb and told Tommy or Johnny Dogs who was already in Canada?

The film is being made in 2023 with a release date of 2024.

But Tommy must've known before leaving that the deal with Michael was going to go awry, otherwise Alfie wouldn't have been there in the first place to complete the transaction.

Maybe it was when he spoke to Gina a couple of eps ago (when he told her not to lie to him). He must've worked out at that point that Michael was going to try and kill him.

Like I say, not complaining! Still enjoyed watching it play out.

I don’t like Duke (but don’t think we’re supposed to?) or the way they dealt with Finn. I’m hoping the reason we didn’t see Charlie or Arthur say those things was because Duke made them up? Hopefully Finn is coming back to get even with Duke in the film. I think he didn’t want to shoot Billy as he was quite close to him and he just isn’t as ruthless as his big brothers. They always kept Finn out of the dirty work because they wanted to protect him so seems weird they expect him to go around murdering people now?
I thought the rest of the episode was good as a whole but could have done with being spread out across the previous ones so not everything happened in the final!
I don’t think that Duke made it up. Billy was a spy for the IRA and Finn told him about the plan to kill Molseley at the end of series 5 so effectively it was Finn’s fault that Polly was murdered

Bit of an ‘Easter egg’

Tommy planing on committing suicide after his diagnosis… exactly what Oswald and Diana’s son did last year.

Might be a coincidence, but I thought that was a bit full circle moment 🤔

I was disappointed with how little screen time Ada got too. I’m hoping Tommy’s mention of her going into politics is maybe a hint of what’s to come in the film and she has a good storyline there, but she definitely deserved better this series.
I think the actress that plays Ada had a baby during filming, which explains why she was in it less but I agree, would have loved to see more of her
