Peaky Blinders - season 6

Why have they got Tommy making announcements all the blummin time. dragging things out whenever he talks 😂

“20 years ago…. At whatever horse fair …. I met a girl *dramatic pause* . She liked horses *dramatic pause* so did I. We lay down next to a tree …. I didn’t see her after and nor did I try to find her, but this boy ‘ere … this boy *big hand pat on shoulder * he’s … he’s my son *dramatic look around the family * “
“We shared the shade of a hazel tree” - never heard someone describe a quick shag so poetically! 😆

Well I definitely think Billy Grade (the brilliant Emmett Scanlon) will die for being an IRA informant and I think Captain Swing will definitely cop it for ordering the death of Polly Gray. Jimmy McCavern will be executed for what he did to Bonny Gold (and hopefully we find out who told McCavern and the Billy Boys where Aberama and Bonny were camped). Tommy won't die as Cillian Murphy has already signed up for the film. I don't think Arthur will die as they need a senior Shelby alive after losing Polly and Tommy's days are numbered.

I have a strange feeling we are going to see a massive twist, perhaps Michael and Tommy joining forces (a temporary truce?) against the IRA and the Nelson family. Will Tommy tell Michael about Gina shagging Moseley? That would break the bond between Michael and the Bostonian Nelson family.

Here's hoping Sunday's episode is action packed and not more wistful smoky scenes of people staring into the distance. There's a LOT to pack into 80 minutes.

Me and my boyfriend said yesterday that we think Tommy and Michael will reunite. It’ll come out that Billy is an IRA informant and therefore the reason Polly is dead - making Michael reevaluate his hatred towards Tommy. He’ll kill Billy, team up with Tommy to kill Swing, and he’ll leave Gina after finding out about Mosley, and realising how bad Uncle Jack is.

Cool little article about Steven Knight's plans for the film. It doesn't include spoilers as such but I won't relay any of it here in case people don't want any clues or hints.

I had the chance to speak to Steven Knight and blew it. I was walking through Birmingham city centre with my sister and saw a smartly dressed man enjoying a drink outside a bar. He looked strangely familiar. I stopped and smiled at him, he smiled back. I said "Sir, are you infamous?" and he sipped his drink and replied "I might be". We carried on walking and about ten minutes later I said to my sister "The penny has just dropped, that was Steven Knight!!!"
I was so pissed off, I'm a Peaky Blinders superfan and didn't even recognise him. Feel a right twit to this day 😂

I actually think you could be right you know!

Gonna sound like a moron as I've been complaining most of this series, but I'm actually excited for tonight to see how it all ends! 😃

Is anyone else gutted that this is the end of the show?

I’m not sure how they’re gonna tie everything up tonight. I feel like this series has been really slow build and now there’s not much time to finish everything. I know they’re doing a film but I didn’t think the film would be a direct follow on from the series? I’m sad it’s ending but I think it’s time with how boring some of the eps have been this season.
