🤦‍♀️🤦‍♀️🤦‍♀️

It's alright banishing Dad and the newborn to another room to settle the head of the house now, but what does she plan to do if baby decides she's going to cluster feed from midnight to 3am? She can't send her away then.

There is a very obvious solution here that will avoid the whole house becoming seriously sleep deprived. GIVE RAVEN HER OWN ROOM! Has she even asked the kid about it? I know she's only 3, but she may like the idea of her own room, with her own bed, decorated how she likes. Yes, she may not be keen at first, but at least if there was a room available for her, she'd have the option of taking herself there when she wanted some peace.

You didn’t get them grubby stains out the baby grows then Nicola

I’ve just come on to put I know how to solve this issue... Give Raven her own bedroom! 😂😂😂 its such a simple solution the only person who doesn't want to do it is Pea! That poor baby is literally last priority. If a midwife went round and she told her all this she’s have a field day.

Dean took Ember into the spare room. Erm, sorry. Anyone else think he should've taken Raven? Brand new baby gets taken out of the sleep space so Raven can resettle... There's something so backwards about all this.
Was coming on to say the same thing! You got your husband to take your newborn away till their next feed so you could calm your 3 year old, no doubt with the boob?!

I’m in shock. Total shock.
The beauty of a three year old is theyre usually able to sleep through the night soundly in their own space so you can give the newborn all the attention it needs?! That way she’d at least wake up having had a full nights sleep.
It’s totally unfair on Raven to disturb her sleep like that. Not forgetting that poor baby who’s just shipped in to feast on burger nips.

It is a huge adjustment for raven, but that's why it should of been Nicolas duty to prepare her for this. As soon as she knew she was pregnant she should of started a slow gentle transition with raven to her own room or a room with dad. She had 9 months so could of spent the time making that transition as crunchy as she liked, but noooo she needed the family sleep space, no one else did. It's actually incredibly unfair on new baby and raven. Honestly feel like she has failed them over the sleeping arrangements. Also interesting to know if Dean had baby in the bed with him or the next to me as part of the safe sleep 7 with a newborn is a breastfeeding parent.

I was literally just coming on here to say that! It’s so odd? Why would you want your 1 day old baby to be taken into another room by your husband, so you can focus on giving you 3 year old all the colostrum meant for the baby 🙃 her world has orbited around Raven for so long I hope the new little one gets a look in 😬

New baby won't get a look in until boss lady Raven allows the baby to get a look in 🙄

the fact that r doesn’t even have a bed time or bed time “routine” so to speak is a recipe for disaster too- nicola is so obviously exhausted and i’m sure that’s not just from pregnancy - having a little one and newborn is the most exhausting thing i’ve ever experienced.
no ones saying she can’t continue to meet ravens needs through the nite but she also has a baby’s needs to meet as well as her own!

I know their only stains but why would you dress your newborn baby in such filthy clothes, is it just for crunchy ' I didnt buy anything for new baby'points ?! Like surely she has some non stained grows to put ember in? The stained ones should be the last resort when the washing hasn't been done. Grotty.
Also why are the newborn grows stained with baby food anyway, surely raven wasnt eating while she was in those 🤷🏼‍♀️

With my second I reused a lot but I still spent £20 on a couple of new packs of sleepsuits.l so baby has a few fresh ones. I also didn't re use anything that was thay badly stained. It feels like beyond breastfeeding she just doesn't care much about this baby as of yet.

I brought all second hand because I'm tight 😂 but I brought a pack of white sleep suits for the first week so she had nice fresh ones... I agree, she doesnt seem to have any interest in the new baby, it's all about raven

I'm exactly the same, I think the only thing brand spanking new I had was my pram and that's because I didn't have to pay for it 😂🙈 and a few outfits. I just find it so odd that as lovely as it can be to use hand me downs why you would use stained stuff? I had 13 months between my 2 so not a chance I was re buying everything but the stained stuff definitely got sent to my local clothes bin. There is something about a brand new fresh baby in bright white sleepsuits.

I've commented so much this morning but I'm still just so baffled by this mornings posts in general. How can someone who regularly preaches about the fourth trimester just cast the new baby off into another room. I suppose she probably thinks raven is still in the fourth trimester.
