We’re probably getting an insta story from her about how she entered the 11/11 portal at some special spa place, finally being able to relax and let go (of absolutely nothing).
I would love to be optimistic about another separation, but I don’t see her returning to her family. They might go to Dublin so his family gets their annual „quality“ time with him before financially supporting him for yet another year, on his endless „journey“.

in honestly worried for her. She seems fairly sheltered and like she’s in a vulnerable place mentally.

he 100% comes across like someone who’d be highly manipulative.

and now he’s somehow managed to isolate her from friends, family and she’s among his friends on the other side of the world.

she’s unlikeable for sure, but I’d hate to see another woman fall victim to a potentially abusive or exploitive relationship. I really, really
hope she sees the light soon.

she came close by the sound of things when she broke up with him before.

This is the camp I’m firmly in right now. Manifest as we might, last year delivered a Christmas miracle and I’m not sure we’ll get two in a row.

Also, random LOL on my dog walk earlier when the Hello! article citing two broken engagements popped in to my head.
 
If they do go to Dublin for Christmas , it'll be so awkward for Nims, as I doubt his family are her biggest fans these days. We know Holly unfollowed her almost immediately after the break-up and still doesn’t follow her now, so there's no love lost there.

They hide away in Bali since nobody approves of their relationship and so they don't have to answer any difficult questions. Oh, and also so Lordon can live on the cheap and go to sex parties.

Same here, it’s kind of like picking the lesser of two evils 😅 she has many faults, but between the two of them, I’m definitely rooting for her to escape him and never return

that’s the way he likes to keep it I reckon. He won’t want her to build bridges with his family.
He’ll want to create a situation where she feels literally everyone is against her, and he’s her only ally. That’s how my abusive ex worked, that’s how my friends’ abusive exes worked. It’s such a common tactic.

once you’ve experienced it it’s so easy to see in someone like jamie - he truly gives me the chills

It's hard to fathom how someone with so much privilege and access to support has been in a state of depression for 4 and a half years now. It's frustrating that she won't help herself. She has not had one period of true happiness. Every single action has been out of desperation and loneliness. I can't think of one moment since Joey left her where I've seen her look healed or fulfilled. Not with the shed, on vacation, in her relationship with Forky, engagement to Lordon. It's been scary watching her disappear over these last few years. I used to be envious of her life back in the Joey era. Seemingly perfect boyfriend, gifted trips to Paris with Dior. I realize now she was struggling mentally then too with control issues and an ED but there was a zest for life and some shreds of empathy for others and passion for her little side projects. She's just a shell of a person now. How much longer is she going to go on like this?
