They both lack self-awareness and are blinded by ego, so they can't tell how fake and full of tit they come across. It'd actually be funny to watch if it weren't so annoying.
 
I wonder if Nims tried to reconnect with Charlotte and some of her old friends during the break up period at the start of the year, and when they didn’t fawn all over her and welcome her back with open arms she got even more depressed and that’s why she jumped on a plane to SA and back into Lordon’s grasp?
Wasn’t there a picture of her at some event earlier this year with Max and Venetia and they looked awkward AF, like when you’re trying to be polite but don’t actually want to talk to someone?

I doubt she tried to reconcile with Charlotte. She would have had to admit that she was in the wrong, and I don't think Niomi is capable of that. She might have pretended like nothing ever happened when meeting people like Max and Venetia, but I doubt she had any serious conversations. But I'm sure she expected everyone to come flying at her, wishing to kiss her ass. She must have been rudely awakened when that didn't happen and things were just awkward.

Yea I think she expected all of her old crowd to come running back to her like they did after the Joe breakup. But they’ve all realized what a selfish person she is and I’m willing to bet that almost no one checked in on her (which makes sense considering she ditched all of them for a sleaze that she’d known all of 3-4 months) . And knowing Niomi, she took that as a sign that Lordon was be the only constant in her life and she went crawling back.
 
I think he’s gaslit the hell out of her and totally eroded what little self esteem she had left. She probably has distanced herself from old friends partly from shame, because of things he’s told her about them/herself as well.

it’s always subtle, how these con artists do it. For example, that sad little Chinese meal he got for her birthday was it, last year? It’s totally reasonable to want and expect a bit of effort, but manipulators will turn it around on you if you dare question it. He’ll say what he loves most about Niomi is how down to earth and spontaneous she is. He’ll say it’s demanding and putting unnecessary pressure on people to have expectations for birthdays etc.

Everything about the way he writes about himself points to a guy who is highly manipulative. I feel so sorry for Niomi. He’ll be running circles around her and making her question herself and everything about her life.

Seems like she was the one who broke up with Marcus then he had some stuff to say about someone he dated being basically toxic and doing something not cool, and also looks like she dumped Forky and again moved on with a smile like nothing happened. But when someone breaks up with her (from what we seem to know about her and Joe) she's broken for life?....I don't get it, you'd think that she's used to people being discarded when they no longer serve someone. It's legit her motto.

That creepy ass contraception video she had with him comes to mind again, where he was asking her questions, it was so cringe ugh.

Reminds me of that creepy contraception video where he was “interviewing” her about her experience with birth control.

I think she’s the embodiment of the saying “if you lie to yourself enough times it becomes your truth”. I honestly think that she does believe all the happiness, self-growth, voodoo nonsense she’s been spewing because she’s so far down that rabbit hole of suppressing the true reality of things. She truly think everything she’s saying is valid because she’s forced it to become her truth, if that makes sense. Everyone else can see it’s clearly delusional but she’s too far gone.

I think this whole “create your own path”, “question traditionalism” and “everyone is on their own timeline” BS is Lordon’s way of (1) postponing/forgoing an actual wedding so he can live out his dream of having an open “marriage” with multiple wives, and (2) put off having children. He doesn’t want a baby screwing up his perfect Bali lifestyle.
 
I personally don’t see an issue producing a piece of content targeted at woman who have periods. I completely understand not all woman have periods. Some people have periods who don’t identify as woman but Niomi should be able to produce a video aimed specifically at woman who have periods. Like how many pieces of content are targeted at a certain demographic. I do however think she’s full of tit and it’s no great loss on woman who have periods that they no longer have access to Niomi’s wisdom on the matter. I wonder why she deleted it.

I think for me, it’s the fact that she provides no evidence based research in her entire video or even acknowledges that periods can be extremely painful and debilitating for a lot of women. If she had a physician or someone who specializes in women’s health in the video alongside her and took a more science-based approach, I don’t think anyone would be complaining. Or if she had presented it specifically in a way where she was talking about her own experience

Periods/women’s health has only begun to be properly researched and taken seriously in the last couple decades and pseudo-science videos likes hers make people take women’s health even less seriously. I just think she had no business making a video about trying to “educate” people about something she had obviously done no research over.
