Did she say why they aren't going back to India? I thought it was pretty much Joe's dream job, did he get something equally as exciting in the UK?

Also, has she said anything about wedding plans and Covid? Are they postponing? Doing something smaller? I haven't kept up with her recently.

The league is probably canceed due to COVID, I don't think his job was a permanent one. It's likely that he had a contract with them for one term or something, so when everything was cancelled he had to come back. I actually felt sorry for him a bit. I know he'll have pretty much any job handed to him in a silver tray but he sounded like he was really excited for India.

Even if he has another opportunity after the pandemic, I don't know if Niomi will be on board.

I think she said she’s plant based rather than vegan, correct me if I’m wrong. Either way, I don’t think she does it for ethical reasons from an animal rights pov, perhaps she does truly believe a vegan diet is more environmentally sustainable. Her attitude towards food does appear to be a bit disordered so I think you’ve hit the nail on the head in your last sentence sadly.

I truly wonder what it is that made Joe choose Niomi....
As we’ve all said, he comes from a family that has more wealth than they know what to do with, he seemed to have a friend group and siblings he’s close to/shared a social life with.
Why in the hell would he choose an extremely vanilla, nothing special about her, zero charisma phony like Niomi??

I agree completely. In his circles there would be a lot of other options. Beautiful ladies with top-tier educations/careers settle for men who are worse-looking than him.. In fact Joe was the IMG model while Niomi isn't. I can't believe he was so desperate that he was going on a blind date with Niomi's friend Charlotte. And Niomi vlogs a lot, which exposes him and his family to criticism and prying eyes online.
My theories... Maybe he is getting older and wants kids? Maybe he and Niomi have some uncommon private bedroom preferences that can only be satisfied by one another? Maybe he enjoys the followers he gained from Niomi - puts it on his resume and it helps him get marketing jobs? Maybe he likes that Niomi's main personality trait is being meticulous about health, and he thinks she will maintain her body over the decades? ... Idk.

tbf Joe's very vanilla too! I think they're a perfect match.

Also, as boring as she is, Niomi has been pretty successful.

He must like her constant fawning over him too.
 
I agree they are both incredibly dull thats what they have in common. They seem like a good couple minus Niomi controlling his food intake. They both seem to find the most basic unfunny things funny, they are both into fitness, they both want the same things in life (getting married unlike Zalfie who want different things). Niomi and her family aren't short of money either so they have similar privileged backgrounds.

i've never seen a more matched couple in terms of how bleeping basic they both are
niomi irritates me, but there's no way she's punching above her weight - if anything niomi has more personality than "joey" from what we've seen. anytime she points the camera at him he runs his hand through his hair and looks so stupid and confused like a deer in headlights hahahha

Joe doesn’t seem too bright to be frank, so I guess Niomi is a pretty good match. I don’t think anyone more intelligent or intellectually ambitious would find Joe attractive. They both have pretty looks but sadly that’s joined by brains of a 10 year old, just think of all the giggles they can get from things like peanut butter or a carrot.

Yeh her constant giggling at inane things actually drives me mad!
 
so are they just living with his brother freddie now? his apartment is rather cramped and I know that was their designated place to bunk upon return visits from india but now that they're back permanently it seems like they should be looking for a new place. from the way she posted about how long they've taken to decorate that one bookshelf it seems like a long term arrangement.

yes she mentioned they would be there for a couple years. I don’t understand either? They went from a huge house in London to sharing a small 2 bed flat with his brother.. I wonder if it’s because they couldn’t get out of their rent in India so still have to pay for that?
 
Niomi does seem to get along really well with Freddie they were always hanging out just the two of them so at first I didn't think it was a big deal about them sharing a flat until I saw the flat it is tiny with 3 people in there it might feel very cramped. I feel like they had more space in his parents out house.

They urgently need to be in London so they can sit in an even more cramped space and cook oats and stare at each other all day. Two young and busy professionals in the bustling city!
 
Could they be waiting for the pandemic to calm down? House hunting and furniture shopping is a lot of busy work out and about, could they be waiting it out while they also plan the wedding? Still seems unnecessary 'roughing it' for two people with seemingly endless money to burn. All of that process go way smoother if you have a big budget for shortcuts and hiring people to help you along the way.

It's so sad to see that Niomi is filling the place with so much stuff of hers and of her pictures. I would be annoyed if I was Freddy, there is no way that she is really planning to live with him for more than a year. It is Joe's house, I think Niomi wants him out of the house.
