Neighbours #2 that’s when good tattlers become good friends

I do think if they bring it back in some form (one offs or mini series) they need to sort out the cost of production. This is the main reason it’s ending because of how expensive it was getting to make and channel 10 need to front more of the money. As I’ve said before it shouldn’t be up to another country to fund an Australian show.
 
6pm is basically a dead slot people are either watching the news or not watching anything because they’re either not home yet or getting tea ready. BBC 2 usually show a repeat of a cooking show or Railway Journeys etc (they very rarely show brand new shows) and Channel Four show the Simpsons.

People only watched neighbours at that time (or at 7pm on +1) because they made the effort and would’ve watched anyway regardless of the time it was shown.

Ch5 kept the show running for substantially longer than without it. Production got greedy and channel 10 should’ve paid more in.

That’s not correct. It’s currently on a summer break but BBC2 usually shows House of Games in the 6pm slot (the quiz show hosted and devised by Richard Osman) which has proved very popular in that slot and has been recommissioned several times due to its popularity

Channel 5 could have made more of the show, they messed about with the scheduling, especially during covid when they could have gained more viewers in lockdowns. Channel 5 even messed up the final, they didn't even show the full final, they cut numerous scenes.

I can see why Sky was cut. Her message was so short and it looked like it hadn’t been edited properly? They were meant to watching Karl and Susan’s tv but this look a different house
