I did just watch the ending on that version and I think it was Karl that said the last audiable word which was "Toad" as the balloon went up in the air. Susan said the last sentence. I am glad didn't want Charlene to have the last word (especially when she didn't say much anyway!)

I was always a Billy fan, it was great to see him in the video montage. I never thought Mal was attractive, but he looked good this time around
 
Do we know what’s wrong with Tom Oliver (Lou)? It must be pretty bad if he couldn’t even send a video message, he was still appearing faintly regularly until about five years ago. Strange how Harold didn’t even mention hm at all. They were/are best friends! He was close to Toadie as well, and it was Lou he lived with when his family first left, rather than the Kennedy’s who became his surrogate family. At least the producers acknowledged him with the ‘T Oliver’ on the envelope.

Also missed Mark Brennan, Lynn Scully, Analise, Tyler and Piper, and yes Craig McLaughlin (Henry) should have been there as well.

When Harold first saw Amy she said to him, “how’s Lou, do you keep in touch?” But someone came in and he never answered

Mark should’ve been there with the kids and Tyler and piper. Though glad they showed he and Paige are still together.
Loved Lance message to Amy since last video message she did one to him.
I think they’ve done Amy possibly being pregnant heavily hinted at Joel as the father.
Shame no lynn and none of the timmins.

Wonder if Clive's visit to the USA will involve a hook up with Sheila? We never did find out what she had phoned him about that day. Oh well never mind, loved the fact that Mike and Jane are together again..Also loved the fact that Amy might be pregnant.. There was alot of hope and love in that last episode and that is Neighbours for me in a nutshell. ❤️
 
Was the guy who played Todd in it? I didn't notice him there, but to be honest I couldn't always tell who was who after all these years! But I'm pretty sure Kristian Scmitd was my first ever crush! I was gutted when they killed him off!

I just finished watching the finale. Susan’s monologue had me in bits.

The Kylie thing was just weird. Do they really pay by the word. That kinda let it down for me.

The episode was beautifully written 🤍. I enjoyed it so much.

I remember when I was going through a hard time Neighbours (& h&a) were my escape, that time in my day where I felt at peace. I have looked forward to watching neighbours everyday since 2018. I watched it in the 2000s whilst I was at school but from about 2014-2018 I dipped out of it. I know it’s a show but I feel like I lost a friend.

When I left the UK and moved abroad, I practically became a tech guru (not really 😂) struggling with VPNS and all the rest just to get my daily dose of neighbours.

It wasn’t a show on it’s last legs and I genuinely hope we can see some revival 🤞🏼.

I have loved this thread too, thank you everyone ♥️

I just watched the Aus version on Dailymotion, no ads too. Just type in “neighbours 8901” then it comes up as 8901+8902+8903.

I think that and the phone call it’s hinting that he does get back with sheila.
I love that they’ve left some things open to interpretation like Amy hinting she’s pregnant. They’ve done it to seem like Joel is likely the father but could also be Lance.
